Day 24 – Merry Christmas!
We’re still buzzing from last night!
Yesterday’s Livestream was truly special and we thank all of you who tuned in for spending it with us!
This has been our favourite Advent Calendar to date, not least because we felt like we could get to know many of you a little better and interact in a more direct way through the Livestream chats. That was so special!
Today, we’re celebrating Christmas as a family – the 24th is our Christmas based on Austrian customs. We’ll go out for a meal, open presents and hang out together. It will be a lovely and peaceful day.
To those of you who are also celebrating today, we wish you a Merry Christmas, and the rest of you will hear it again tomorrow in our final written post of the year :-).
After tomorrow we’ll be taking a break until the new year so the next post from us here in the MLT Club will be on Friday, January 6th. We’ll use the time until then to film some new videos, plan the year ahead and relax to tank some energy for 2024.
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, we’ll talk to you (in post form) tomorrow.

To Mona & Lisa; I loved the advent calendar this year as usual. I must say Thank You for your sincere wishes to my wife for her recovery. You both are amazing people, and I am so glad that I found you 3 years ago!!! Merry Christmas to you both, & of course, Papa Rudi & Michaela also! Looking forward to 2024. As a person who doesn’t take part in social media, I want to say that I really enjoyed the ‘Twins Advent calendar and especially the final show yesterday. I loved the music and reading the comments from the members. Mona and Lisa, your music really touches me and lifts my spirits. You are both such nice, sensible young ladies with a wonderful family. And you, the members of the club, are very nice people as well. It makes me believe there is hope for the world! I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and may 2024 be a great year for all.

Thank you for making my Christmas so special. It’s always an emotional time for me spending time with my boys and grandkids, knowing they lost their mum when they were aged 7&9, and knowing my grandkids will never know what she was truly like. But, you two have brought so much joy to me which brightens my Christmas- love and best wishes x
This was my first Advent Calendar with you and I’m sure I’ll always remember it. Very sure. It was even better than I could possibly have imagined, like nothing I’d ever seen before.
I hope you have the best Christmas dinner together and all the joys of the Holiday. I can’t thank you enough for all the things that you do. (But I’m going to keep trying.)
My family does Christmas on the Eve as well, then tomorrow is dinner with the extended family. And I’m cooking it, so I better get back to work.

Now I’m wishing I get a dictionary for Christmas so I can find some new adjectives to describe your family, your music and this club. Until I find the right words I’ll just say Merry Christmas and thank you.

Today is a time for reflection for me, and thanks for such a wonderful group of online friends. All courtesy of the MLT Club. My life is richer for all that has come through membership in the last year and a bit. Yesterday affected me in ways I can’t even put into words.
Tomorrow I will be with family on Cindy’s side, and my brother’s family is taking care of my ailing sister-in-law with a family gathering that Roy is thankfully able to take her out to on a day pass. Wednesday their daughter, her hubby and three grand daughters come from BC to visit for a few days. Possibly the last time they will be together in this life. But at least they will have that.
Live, laugh, and love my friends. Life can be short, laughter fades away, but love will always endure.

Sorry for what your family is going through Daryl. I’ve had friends go in peace and in pain. I had the chance to say goodbye and thanks to some and with others I never got the chance. Life and love are the most precious things there are so you got to cherish every minute. Peace my friend and Merry Christmas.

Your family is doing the best thing by getting together at this time. Everyone will remember and cherish those moments forever! I’ve lost many family members, but I always remember all the good things, and I feel that at some point, we will all be together again! Take heart, spread love and enjoy your Holiday together!

I’m not much social or good at putting things in words, but
yesterdays live stream gave me a little hope.
We had upwards of 140 people watching the stream, and many in chat.
People from all around the world it seemed.
There was a channel full of love.
One person mentioned they might have to drop out of the club as they had no job and might not be able to afford it.
Several people offered to pay for them if they needed it.
No one asked what race / sex / political party they were, they wanted to help out a friend (yes, you can be friends with people you’ll never meet)

I haven’t been a member of the MLT Club for long & I did not know what to expect of your advent calendar. After seeing them I want to express my appreciation for all the work you did to put together such an enjoyable calendar. Listening to the both of you and seeing how other members interacted and enjoyed the time with you has been a happy experience. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention getting to listen to your father and step-mom was great.
Again thank you for all the work you did to make the advent calendar wonderful.
