All About Falling In Love – Video Shoot – Photos

It was a crisp, below-zero day in February when we decided to shoot our music video for “All About Falling In Love”. To watch the “Making Of” video click here.

Here we collected a few more photos that we found, taken that day. Despite the cold, we remember the shoot very fondly. With the exception of a single scene (the two of us sitting and playing on a park bench) we shot the entire video on just that afternoon. The overcast sky actually helped us greatly with this as we were able to get consistent lighting and a coherent look all day. Thank you, otherwise annoying and depressing clouds!

The female actress’ name is Mona Schramke (great name, right?) and the male actor is our friend Mario Slavik. Arnold Holler was helping Papa Rudi with the filming and set-up.

Stay groovy,
Mona & Lisa

  1. I just love the song and enjoyed seeing how it all came about visually. Great things happen in below zero weather, I know. I got married on Feb. 12, 1988, in Sub-Zero, blizzard conditions. Car wouldn’t start after reception, haha, so she left with her family. There’s a joke there somewhere, on me. Thanks.

  2. BTS shots… Always a Bonus… These are Fab and The Making Of video is a blast to watch too…. All had a productive, fun, sometimes freezing go but hey… It all Warmed Up to be a Heartfelt Labour of Love ?

  3. Love this song and all the behind the scenes things. Yes having 2 Mona’s is a Great thing.
Something you need to know though when I hit video shoot-photo shoot it takes you to photos of your grandparents visit. Don’t know why.
Not complaining at all as I like both. Just wanted you to be aware of.

  4. All About Falling in Love is a wonderfully sweet love ballad, and the awesome video does it great justice. Liked the ingenious wheel chair converted to camera vehicle with Mona driving papa Rudi along. Looked like Mona Schramm and Mario could have made a cute couple in the video if only Mona tripped Mario as he walked by or Mario tripped himself to the ground in front of her. 🙂 I guess we’ve all been through those what if moments growing up.

    1. Yes Jung! As much as I love the song and the video I also can’t help but secretly wish that they somehow “met” at the end as they walked past each other. Perhaps MLT could have presented two versions. version 1; the original, and version 2; the “alternate universe” where something happened when they passed each other and as a result met and lived happily ever after! Just too corny perhaps?

      1. LOL! I guess we’ll just have to keep our imagination open on the ending Stephen. 🙂
