We’ll be back in the UK next week when we’ll be able to pick things back up as usual. Honestly, we could use a holiday from this holiday but taking a day off once we’re back home will have to suffice. 😅
We’re enjoying spending time here, cleaning out the home, reminiscing and catching up with old friends. It’s fun but also emotionally draining. On one hand we look forward to closing this chapter while on the other hand saying goodbye to our childhood home feels sad and a little overwhelming. It’s a lot to take in and process.
We’ve got a few more days to prepare our goodbyes and next time you hear from us we’ll be back in the UK. Hopefully we’ll get to cut together a little video showing you where we come from in a few weeks’ time.

I want to thank all the MTL members for the congratulations winning the blue guitar. It was a big surprise I never expected. But I haven´t got it yet. So the anticipation is great. I want to thank Mona and Lisa for their generosity to give away such a piece they started their career with. I will treat it right. In the next time I will post a video or picture showing me playing the blue guitar!

It must be hard for the girls going through all the memories of their childhood home knowing that it is goodbye. I remember back in 2017 when my mother was no longer able to fend for herself and moved in with one of my brothers. It was tough going through everything in the home that my family had owned since it was new in May 61 (we were the last of the 16 original owners in the crescent). We took what we could and needed and decided to employ a clearance company to do the rest.
Their representative recommended that we not be there when they did the actual clearance as he stated that it is often too emotional for people. Most of the stuff went to charity shops or charities and it gave a positive slant to our sorrow knowing that our past was going to help people in more need than us.
Girls, it is worth a thought to get the job done without the possible heartbreak.

I know I’m probably too late with this idea but, you really should have an online auction of all the stuff you’re wanting to get rid of! Not only would it be a lucrative fund raiser but it would give all of us extended family members a chance to have something of yours. You most certainly underestimate what the value of some of things you consider junk holds for us fans.

My initial thought was the speakers and stage look oddly familiar like the stage you used in your first concert MonaLisa and Band.
Not many people know that the album is already signed on the inside by Mona, Lisa, Michaela, and Papa Rudi. Your first signed album that all 4 of you signed.
