Busking & Stage 2010 – Photos

We dabbled in a bit of everything in 2010. A bit of busking in Vienna, a bit of filming, a bit of performing, a bit of writing.

We were still figuring it all out and taking in every experience as it came. A lot of that would turn out to help us in the years ahead.

So much about music, about being creative, about singing and performing was novel and incredibly exciting. Not that it isn’t even more exciting now, but doing things for the very first time holds its unique type of thrill.

There is a mixture of photos in this folder. The ones on stage are actually taken on the same stage that we had performed our very first proper live show on in 2007 and recorded our first album. Over the years we would sometimes perform there for family and friends during summer parties.

Some of the other photos show us rehearsing in our Austrian recording studio with Dad and some friends and filming What a Wonderful World in a sea of dandelions in our back garden. Some precious memories …

  1. wonderful memories, the power of the photograph is amazing just like music, it can take you to another world – love the barefoots, that’s Ozi style for sure

  2. I really enjoy seeing these older photos of the two of you and how you “grew up” in your Dad’s music recording studio. Is it any wonder that you became professional musicians?! How lucky for us! Thanks for sharing.

  3. Awesome , and loved strolling down your musical journey memory lane, here with you in this assortment of photos. Each photo captures its own vibe and the Field of Dandelions moment, inspiring…Thankyou for sharing?

  4. Fun old pics!

I have always loved being barefoot, and still do, so the “barefoot on stage” pics especially caught my eye (As barefoot Lisa did in the “Dreams” video).

I also watch the “Wonderful World” video from time to time. What a great old song, and a good one to listen to now when the restrictions get me down. The dandelions there are beautiful – ours here are not, but we have substitutes.

  5. Love seeing these early days photos of you both performing, especially the busking photos. It’s like seeing John and Paul in the Quarrymen days! The 1 year old audience while you busked is priceless. It looks like that Cajon goes way back as well as that Lanakai Uke! The picture of you both in the bed of dandelions is beautiful. Will have to watch that What a Wonderful World video again. Thanks for this, really enjoyed it. 🙂
