Our Cavern Club Residency Throughout 2014 – Photos

Soon after our
1st ever gig at the legendary Cavern Club we started our weekly residency there. At first, as a duo act on Saturday noon, but soon we “upgraded” to full-band performances during prime time: 7-8pm and 9-10pm.

It was to become our weekly routine for the following 100 weeks. During heatwaves in the summer, when the sweat would drip off our guitars, through Halloween performances in zombie outfits and intimate Christmas shows on Boxing Day. We had crazy elves storm the stage, witnessed proposals, met hundreds if not thousands of new people and fans, broke countless of guitar strings and probably performed more than a hundred different songs – all on that small little stage, nearly identical to the one on which the Fab 4 honed their skills back in the day.

An opportunity we value to this day and one that taught us a lot about playing, performing, crowds, atmosphere and having a good time on stage that would take the audience for a ride.

Here, we collected the best images we could find that were taken during our shows at the Cavern Club in the year 2014. For all photos taken in 2015, click here.

  1. I so wish I could have seen you ladies at the Cavern – but I’m holding on to the hope to see you play live someday. Your stage presence and musical talent and the joy with which you entertain is phenomenal. It’s very hard to stop watching because you’re so awesome to watch! Hope the Cavern was as great for you both as the pictures show.

  2. Many memories were created in those couple of years, for sure. I’m glad I was able to come and see you as many times as I did, as well as being there for both the beginning and ending gigs of your residency. I can’t believe it’ll soon be three years since I last saw you! :-O

  3. I bet your nerves were nearly Shot when you took the stage for the first time. Wow! How cool was that! And an experience that is unmatched anywhere.
Even Mona the Zombie has an earing in. (Last photo, blown up you can see it)
    Thanks Ladies for sharing?❤

  4. I’ve never seen you live in concert and probably never will, but I love watching your concert footage. In my humble opinion, you belong onstage and should go back to doing that.

  5. The Cavern looks like a really cozy and intimate environment to play, with the audience so close to the stage. Great shots, and awesome close ups of your musical facial expressions as you play. Those feelings expressed while playing seem to almost translate through these photos as well. Now those Halloween ones at the end are gruesomely vivid and impacting too, especially that very last one of Mona. Enjoyed seeing them all, thanks!

  6. Great photos! I wish I could have seen you there in person but the videos and photos are the next best thing to being there! What a kick it must have been for you 2 and Rudi and Michaela!

  7. Whoa… Quite the pix collection… Luv them all…. Though I’m not quite 5 feet tall in height, I’m a tad on the claustrophobic side, but if I had a chance to see you there, I ‘d of either had to be smackdab in Centre at front of stage or standing on a table /chair to catch a nob-obstructive view of your gigs… Short people and concert venues, don’ t always go hand in hand but I’d of found a way to temporarily put my claustrophobia on hold, to get that unobstructed view… But thankfully all photos and videos from your residency time shared by yourselves and others provided me with the sense as though I was actually there enjoying the shows, Thankyou for sharing!!
