New Album Announcement – Early Access
It’s time to share with you all what we have been working on lately!
Drum roll please …
We’ve got a Christmas album coming out!
They started selling advent calendars in our local shop last week, so we think it’s acceptable to announce it already 😉 .. despite the 22 °C we had today (which is still considered hot here!). Also, we want you Club members to know before anyone else.
The album will simply be called “CHRISTMAS” and is going to include:
- 5 New covers of a mix of more traditional and more modern Christmas songs
- 5 Christmas covers we’ve done throughout the past few years
- 1 Original Christmas song
It’s become somewhat of a tradition to release a track for the holidays every year, so we thought why not finally do what has been requested for so long now and turn them into a full-length album.
As you know, these things take some preparation, so we have spent a lot of the Summer, including the hottest days of the year, recording Christmas songs in our boiling hot studio.
Pre-Order Start: 29th September // Release Date: 1st November
We experimented quite a lot when it came to arranging the music on this album.
The last thing we wanted to do was to make another “regular” Christmas album to add to your pile of dusty records that only gets looked at once a year.
Don’t get us wrong, it’s still very Christmassy with its fair share of jingle bells, lots of harmonies and tranquil moments but we also added a lot of quirky instruments, jazzy vocal and guitar parts that made for some more “out there” arrangements.
We’ll go into much more detail about it all later in the year, but today we just wanted to let the cat out of the bag and tell you what we’ve been up to for the last while.
A friendly reminder: Please keep this under wraps until the 29th of September, which is when pre-orders will officially start. That way we can prepare the announcement in the most effective way and it won’t spoil any surprises. Thank you! ♥
There are also only a few more weeks left until the MLT Club will celebrate its 1st Birthday on 11th of October. We have a few things planned for the milestone, including a Q&A video, so please head over to this post to leave your questions in the comments!

Looking forward to “Christmas”, no doubt it will be the same high quality holiday music you’ve given us in the past! It does however create an issue in that I’ll have to take “ORANGE” out of my player which I am reluctant to do…
Just take it out for the Christmas season. Then you can put it back!
Your Christmas songs and videos are one of the holiday highlights of Maria and my Christmas season! We always love the original spins you put on Christmas classics and look forward eagerly to see what the song for each year will be! A whole CD of Christmas songs is going to make this an extra special season! I am especially looking forward to hearing the original and have my fingers (and toes) crossed that there will be a new video with it also! Thank you once again for adding so much happiness and fun to our lives! 🙂

What great news, and awesome idea to do a Christmas album! Your Christmas music and Advent calendar this last year brought Christmas back to my life after several years of not having much to cheer about nor celebrate when Christmas came around. Thank you both for that.
I have to say your Christmas music over the years are just fabulous, and I have to admit I’ve often listened to your Christmas music like “Little Drummer Boy” even in the summer, and I have a feeling I will be doing more of the same with your new Christmas album. I imagine you have heard the Christmas album(s) that the Fab Four (a Beatles cover band) have done. Their songs are essentially traditional Christmas songs but twisted to sound like particular Beatles songs. Very unique and I’m sure you’d like them. You can find them on You Tube of course.

A new Christmas album will be “Holly Jolly” good. It’s really great to see your faces again in video. We’ll be anticipating the per-release order date. Is the new Christmas song that you wrote titled; “A Very Groovy Christmas”? Just wanting to hear them all!
