Opening an Irish Pub, Live Gig – Photos
Close your eyes, point your fingers on a world map and you’ll probably hit an Irish Pub. Some countries conquer with weapons, others do it with drinking establishments 😉
Let us take you back to 2012 …
When the Irish Pub called Mulligan’s in Deutsch-Wagram (a town close to where we lived in Austria) got refurbished we were asked by the new owner to be the band for the opening party. As usual back then, we had Philipp Wolf on the drums and Michael “Moz” Mozeth on the bass with us.
Everyone had a wonderful evening, with lots of dancing, singing and laughing. We remember to have made many new friends that day, most notably the guys from “Craesh” who we played a joint live concert at “Aera” with later. (It was the one that some of our earliest fans from various places in Europe attended live, and of which we uploaded 5 videos on YouTube.)
They also helped us out with the diving equipment when we filmed the “Nothing Is In Vain” video. So all in all you can say the Irish shamrock brought us luck.

Even though I live in Dallas / Ft Worth Tx I grew up in Syracuse NY and there is a definite IRISH community in an area called Tipperary Hill…lots of Irish Pubs …but one of the things that makes Tipperary Hill unique is the traffic signal light…every traffic light in America is Red on top…Green on bottom…well the Irish ☘️ are GREEN and they’ll be damned if the British are Red and on top…the only traffic light in America where GREEN is on Top is Tipperary Hill….i am of Irish descent on my fathers side and French Canadian from my mothers side….loved the pics and would love to see you girls live on stage with band bringing us that Great 60s Sound☘️💚

This wee leprechaunsess would of been in her Shammrock Groovy Glory, if I’d of been there….I know I would have thoroughly enjoyed, Canada Dry or Schweppes Gingerale in hand, fab music, singing, dancing, smiling, having a kickass dandy time…yes indeed…Irish Eyes Were indeed Smiling and Bringing you Luck…..Thankyou forvsharing these photos of this gig….the fun and good times, clearly evident here, so glad you enjoyed the evening???☘??

One of my favourite gigs to play is at a local Irish pub. Always goes off well.
Yes I think Irish Pubs are everywhere. We have a few in Vancouver and I recall some very popular and hip ones to hang out at usually with big line ups. Back in the mid 80s when I lived in Toronto for a couple years, a coworker friend was Irish and took me to some Irish community center festivities to enjoy the awesome Irish culture and fun. I wish I had appreciated a good Irish brew back then as much as I do now. I remember facing a hard time if I ever showed up to work without wearing green on St Patrick’s Day.
Some nice photos here of you both performing. Every live shot in different venues you show us here look unique with it’s own vibe and character, which is why these are so enjoyable to see. Thanks for sharing these. 🙂
