Behind The Duo Sessions 2019 – Photos

Duo Sessions – they are fun to do, fun to film and fun to share.

We agree on some songs we want to do, arrange them for two guitars and vocals and then get together with Papa Rudi in our little corner set-up of the studio and turn on the cameras. Here are some pictures from the ones we did in 2019. Which one was your favourite?

  1. Which one is your favorite? That’s like asking which would you rather drive, a Jaguar or an Aston Martin! I know it’s a cop out but I can’t choose!

  2. You know that guy that won’t play along and chose a favorite? Hello
These all feel so special. Especially the originals. I guess it is All About Falling In Love.

Just think, you are already so big that you are making reboots of your previous hits. Close To You sounds like we are all in the same room. I love it. Your guitar solos on this have a little bluesy sound. Smooth.

I do particularly like what you did with Wish You Were Here. Take a big bow for that one, because the applause has not ended. I love the “choir” vocal parts.

These photos are great. Who’s a proud Daddy? Give that man a day off for God’s sake. We all appreciate all of the behind the scenes work, now take a breath.

These pictures are each like pieces of art. They radiate such a happy caring vibe. As someone stated before, thanks for the glimpse…
OK, I really like The Kids Are Alright
but then, ….maybe it’s Both Sides Now?
Oh Sweet Lorraine, if only I could chose just one.
    JP
Kool, i just noticed that when you hi-lite text here, it is orange. Nice!

  3. The Duo Sessions provide the most personal, close-up experience of the magic that emanates from the two of you. Its almost like having you right here in the living room playing, singing and laughing together! If you forced me to choose one I guess it would be “Tonight You Belong To Me”. You both are just so beautiful and the melody and harmony is just so heavenly, and when Lisa sings “oh honey I know..” I just crumble.

  4. Enjoyed all the photos. Especially the feeding of the new baby ukulele. All of the “Duo Sessions” have been very enjoyable but my favorite has been “Good Morning Sunshine”. Second would be “Tired of Waiting”. I just really enjoy watching and listening to everything you do. So keep it up.❤️ ?

  5. This ones easy. Its the cover picture for me. The one with both of you laughing. Lisa holding Mona’s hand as if, Stop saying that its too funny!???
Also the one with Lisa putting on her War Paint, before shooting the Video.
So much fun seeing these. Many great laughs. Thanks Ladies!?❤

  6. All these photos are special. Favourite is probably the one with Mona kissing Lampibampi. Love all the duo sessions but if forced to chose would probably go with “It Ain’t Me Babe” and “Tired of Waiting”.

  7. My Favorite would have to be All of Them, Always looking forward to see the next one. I’ve Got Friday (Duo Sessions} on My Mind!

  8. Melting in a puddle of awesomeness. Duo Sessions are simply the best. Favorite? All of them, of course. “It Ain’t Me, Babe” has an elusive spark of magic coveted by all true artists. That you make it look easy is quite the understatement. Yoko said it was “brave” of a-certain-pop-brat to cover Imagine. Like a toast at the top of K2, the challenge it presents is incomprehensible unless you undergo it.
These pictures make me feel like I was there.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ??

  9. My favorite, I was about to list them all! OK narrowed down to just two then, Tired of Waiting, and Imagine. These pictures add another dimension and color to the Duo Sessions seeing them here. Love all those beautiful smiles. With each different song, there is a different expression, setup, and unique feel from the photos. So many different cool guitars I see you used. Loved seeing these, thank you!

  10. Absolutely love all the Duo Sessions
And that includes the First Liverpool sessions with In My Life and Penny Lane snd Strawberry Fields Forever with MLT teenagers- simply awesome. These pictures just show so many different ways my favorite band can look stunningly beautiful.

  11. A great set of shots, I generally start with the first one and click through in order…this time I was struck by the first image in the seventh row…Mona’s “Bus Stop” Video Stare. But then the next frame, “Aha, just kiddin’!” I also enjoyed Lisa & Rudi ready to show you to your table at the Percussionist’s Buffet, where Lisa can attest that the food is magnifique!

  12. Equally All of them… Just can’t choose a single fave… They’re all Equally Groovy to me ????????️?????☮️???❤️
