  1. I hope you make videos for Destination Sunrise and Jump Ship. My two early favorites from the album. Your videos are always entertaining but I also love just listening to the music. Make Show and Politician also stood out the first time through. Nice album ladies.

  2. “Any Other Day”: This would be a wonderful Duo Session performance. I know that it is a popular choice among our club members as a potential video, but it would be such an awesome simple duet.

But as I always say, ladies choice. Every production that you give us is a gift.

“If You Raise Your Head” quickly is becoming a new favorite. The song goes back to your roots and could have been a strong tune in any of your albums.

  3. I love reading the posts and I find myself agreeing on how good the album is (“good” is actually a gross understatement). I’ve been listening non-stop back to back for a while now. Every single song has a beautiful and memorable melody. The guitars are the envy of Clapton, the bass will walk you all over town to the drum’s superb swing, and the harmonies are of course heavenly, they’d make the Mama’s and the Papa’s blush. Don’t get me started on the lyrics.
WHY? is out of this world.

  4. It is unusual for the lyrics of an album to stay with me, causing me to think as much as the lyrics to the songs on Why? do. There is the fine thread of “space” references that run throughout (I love the contrast between Janitor Joe dreaming of “leaving Mother Earth, Flying through the universe” and Any Other Day’s comment that without love, “we’d still be floating out in space, Like two souls chasing meaningless goals, Still being trapped in a meaningless race”. There is also the fact that we are taken on a journey from high to low, from outer space to the depths of the sea, and scurrying round and round, trapped in between – only to find that the only way out of the chaos is the way through, like a songbird, rising above, yet still looking down, with hope, love, and a song in our hearts. Also really neat is the contrast between the trivial questions posed by Questionable and the significant questions raised by Why? Just some early morning musings from London, Canada!

    1. You make some excellent points here. I’ve listened to the entire album start to finish many many times now, but haven’t stepped back enough to look at it as a whole well as you have. Great post.

      1. Thanks! Great art stimulates all kinds of responses, doesn’t it? And this album is definitely a fine piece of art as well as pure pleasure!

  5. Listened to this a few times now. It seems a more mature piece and is quite brave in some of the places it goes and therefore more edgy. Edgy is good! Having said that it’s not without its lighter moments. I am not a musician so don’t know much about the technicalities but I know what I like and I like this! Although some of the tracks are familiar as previously been released on video they seem to sound better in here within the context of the whole CD. Stand out tracks for me….probably Destination Sunrise, Jump Ship, If you Raise Your Head and Why in no particular order. Not that there are any bad tracks in here in my view. Lots of interesting instrumentation as well to my ears. I think the MLTs are justified in being proud of this record as it’s definitely something to be proud of.

  6. My copy is a fixture in my car for now. We took a long drive to listen in its entirety. I’m bowled over by the lyricism of the songwriting. Love these lyrics! “Any Other Day” is a great song, and so true. Cool solos on that and “If You Raise Your Head”, & “Why?” is awe-inspiring, no less. ❤️

  7. I know I’m a bit late to the party since I held off listening to any of the songs not on YT until my CD arrived. Ironically, I still haven’t been able to listen to the CD, but since it has arrived, I’ve started in on the streamed songs here and finally got to find out what Janitor Joe was up to. That song is awesome. What a cool story and beautifully told. The news announcer talking about flying saucers and radar screens just makes me smile like no one’s business. Most of us dream of winning the lottery and chucking it all. Janitor Joe took matters into his own hands. He’s my hero!
Another thing that piques my interest is some of the instrumentation. I recognize some of Lisa’s go-to guitar licks, but I also hear flute and sitar. Has Mona actually mastered the flute? It sounds too natural to be a keyboard voice. And the sitar? Am I hearing right? Anyway, just a great texture, great layering of sounds, great vocals, great story. In case you’re wondering, I think the song is great! Sorry to be gushing here, but in the Sixties vernacular, I’m diggin’ it!

    1. Hi David, wow I admire your self control to hold off listening to all the songs until your CD arrived. Loved your impression of Janitor Joe, he’s my hero too! The instrumentation is spectacular throughout, mated to those breathtaking harmonies, it’s MAGIC. The flute part in Any Other Day just floors me, love it! I’M DIGGIN IT too indeed!

  8. My package arrived today and all I can say is. . . Thank You! So, I sat down with the headphones on and rocked out. I was transported back to the psychedelic sixties. The album is incredible! All albums have filler music. Not this one. It is incredibly well sung, played, produced, and simply, well, incredible. The opening track ‘Make Show’ sets the tone for the album and feels plucked out of the 60’s. Tracks 5, 6, 7, 9, and 11 just blow me away. ‘Destination Sunrise’ is unbelievable the way it is driven by harmony, bass, and drums like I don’t believe I’ve heard in your music before. In fact, much of the album driven in this fashion. And the guitar flourishes so complement the piece. Unbelievable. ‘Summer Rain’! I believe ‘Summer Rain’ is my favorite song. Beautiful harmony on top of top-notch lyrics, accompanied by perfectly fitting, flitting, guitar work. The instrumental portion is gorgeous. Songbird is more of the same thing with the drums moving the melody forward along with lovely piano and understated guitar. The song is just uplifting. ‘Any Other Day’ feels like it was plucked right out of a sixties TV show and the lyrics so clever. This would fit on any Beatles album. Harmony and counterpoint guitars are beyond words. “WHY”. I can’t even explain. There isn’t a wasted note in the whole song. Again, the drums and bass push the music forward to what seems like a totally separate tune on the second half of the song. Then, of course, you are both the queens of harmony. Seriously no one in the business is this good at complementing each other’s voice. I had to go back and listen to ‘Jump Ship’ again. That song is simply surreal. So well put together. So, again, Thank you ladies for this. I will treasure it always.

  9. There are so many brilliant musical effects throughout the album that stand out. In I Bought Myself A Politician, the rhythmic pulsating beat the drums and bass guitar echo in unison, like a squeeze box, is so appealing, my body just rocks along to the beat. In Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, in the 2nd movement, the whole violin section beats in rhythmic unison that captivates with the same kind of effect, and that kind of genius is in MLT’s compositions. Just floors me, they’ve achieved that level of master music composition.

  10. Great album! I’ve listened to it straight through and also watched the Make Show video. Creativity at it’s finest. Congratulations on a job well done!

PS, my wife received the CD, calendar, pin, and shirt in the mail for me today and I had some explaining to do.

  11. I think I get it. The reason I find this new album so compelling is it’s raw honesty. It’s ability to convey the ups and downs, the hope and fear, the generosity and greed, the innocence and guilt, the pleasure and pain of our human condition in these turbulent times. WHY? indeed!

HOW MLT has been able to do this so well is another story, and no doubt an incredible one which I will be fascinated to learn as they reveal more about the production of the album going forward, but, regardless of how they achieved this, I only know that each song makes a visceral connection within me that is undeniable. I am captured emotionally and moved along a path woven between light and darkness, comfort and apprehension. It creates a sweet and savory journey through the realities of life A rare musical achievement, a true masterpiece. Here’s hoping this production brings MLT the recognition and success they so richly deserve. Bravo!!!

    1. Very well-expressed Stephen! I love “a path woven between light and darkness, comfort and apprehension”. You’ve captured what I feel about the album perfectly!

  12. I sat down 3 hours ago, headphones on and listened to WHY?….several times….I seriously love it…Thankyou Mona,Lisa,Rudi and Michaela for producing an incredibly honest and occasional moving musical statement, you must be so proud of this album…..12 tracks of pure genius with influences borrowed from the masters of rock and roll…My Standout tracks are……”Make Show” “Jump Ship” , “Destination Sunrise” and “Why?”..

  13. Ladies, I can connect with anything you do. Perfection is not by accident…….it takes a lot of hard work. Congratulations on a great album. Give Rudy a Big High Five from all of us in Texas.
    Big Hugs Back to Ya!

  14. I have just listened to the album for the first time today (was waiting for the CD) and really enjoyed it all, a great step onwards from Orange. The first quarter of the album has such a great groove before getting into the slightly slower songs with their great messages. The order of the tracks is quite inspired as it was hard to invisage the album after hearing some of songs earlier just on their own. Wonderful singing and great playing on all the songs, so great when Mona and Lisa sing harmonies together. I will have to listen some more times to get into the ideas behind the themes but overall it really is wonderful. Also love all the extra goodies in my package, another great calendar and a really shiny art card. And of course I adore my Songbird lyric artwork – I have already repurposed a picture frame to display it properly! I’m in MLT heaven this week with my senses overloaded!!

  15. I haven’t listened to the stream yet because I wanted to wait for the physical album to arrive. And it came yesterday! This morning I took the time to sit on my rug between my speakers and listen to it all with the morning sun shining in… The songs made me smile and tear up and dance and think and want to listen to them again… I feels kind of humbling to know that you’ve put a lot of yourselves and your experiences into your music and share it with the world. Thank you! I guess that is what artists do a lot of the times and maybe I should think about this more often… Now that I know the songs, I’m also very much looking forward to reading the others’ comments!

  16. You know I have over a couple hundred CDs of classical, new age, rock and various genres I’ve collected over the decades, and there are places across those many albums of what I can only describe as moments of absolute beauty that I love to go back to experience over and over, that joy and bliss. With your “Why” album, those moments of absolute beauty and joy are spread throughout the album, everywhere, and on every song! I just can’t get over how incredibly awesome it is. I can’t stop listening, it’s incredible. I’m glad you took the time you needed to create this incredible work of art masterpiece. 5 years, 10 years, it doesn’t matter how long it took, it is so, so worth it. You can’t hurry art, and this is perfection you created.

    1. Thank you so much Mona and Lisa, Michaela and Rudolf, for working so tirelessly to bring us such amazing music to enrich our lives, and make the world a better place, every song is so meaningful and beautiful. 🎈💕💕💕💕

  17. I have to comment again! After listening for nearly a week, the songs on this incredible album are deeply embedded in my soul. Each one captures a reaction to this crazy world in which we live – the grasping, manipulative reaction that seeks to control others, the desire to escape it all, the cynicism whose deep-seated mistrust creates self-protective barriers, the determination to break loose and forge on freely, the weary surrender and plea for revived hope, the innocent idealism of youth, overwhelming paranoia and suspicion, the trust in one’s destiny, and the call to action of the brave and the clear-sighted. That is why, for me, it is impossible to choose a favourite song – each one reflects my state of being at different times. And I find, that the one that is most needed, in any given moment, comes into my mind unbidden, allowing me, through the powerful music and lyrics of these exquisite songs, to unload my own burdens, cares, and dreams. I even awakened the other morning in the middle of the song, Destination Sunrise! Thank you again for such a beautiful blessing.

    1. Jeannette, you have managed to write and convey what I only wish I had the ability to write and convey about how this album has effected me so far. Thank you for your words about this rare musical achievement.

      1. Thank you, Stephen. It is impossible to adequately put what I feel into words – there is so much that could be said about lyrics, music, and production. I guess the best thing is simply to allow what we have been given to work its magic!

    2. “The cynicism whose deep-seated mistrust creates self-protective barriers”…Jeannette, that is so good! Many, many thanks for that outstanding quote!

      1. You’re welcome! So hard to capture such depth in a few words. The more I listen, the more I think – and that’s a good thing! Honestly, I think the whole album is about fear. The first 2 tracks show us why we have good reason to be afraid and the rest presents a collage of responses to our fears. Janitor Joe: Somewhere better exists, let’s go! Questionable: The need to control or micromanage our personal lives to combat our fears. Destination Sunrise: Facing our fears by choosing to change direction, leaving the nonsense behind and striding ahead to something better (Can you hear the determined stride in the music!) Summer Rain: a prayer for divine intervention Songbird: Facing reality with hope and idealism Jump Ship: daring to explore the dangers Any Other Day: relying on the belief that destiny plays a role, and everything will work out despite our fears If You Raise Your Head: refusing to give in to fear, daring to look at it and ask necessary questions, and finally Why: the questions and the answers, followed by a resounding Amen or So be it chord! After all the reflection, Pretty Little Thing is a nice way to come back to earth!

  18. Just received the Album Why and the Calender thank you girls you’ve made me so happy
I’m listening to the cd now it is very good indeed
I love janitor Joe destination sunrise and summer rain why is also an excellent song well done ladies you’ve got Another successful Album

  19. any other day could have been on a Beatles album. sounds very much like McCartney. I have listened to it about 30 times already.

    1. Hi John,

Any Other Day grabbed me right away. It feels like a soundtrack song. After the first couple of lines I thought it felt like the opening to a movie or TV show. I am not discounting the song. I love it. And I agree, it could definitely be a Beatles song.

I m really digging the psychedelic aspect of this album. One common theme, clever phrasing, perfectly placed sound effects, Mona’s flute, the Heli Talk Box is very kool. I have been hearing something new with each listen.

      JP
I think they hit on every one of life’s questions.

      1. jp
listen to any other day almost every day. i listen to the cd multiple times , i like to pick out all the little details that go into a song. i have been impressed by the much richer sounding background
        vocals.

  20. Got back from my trip late last night. Woke up this morning, went to the grocery store and when I got back… there it was on my front porch!!! Oh Happy Day!!! Such a well-put-together collection of total grooviness.
If the merch looks this good,… I’ll be sharing my comments on the music as I take my time to savor these new original songs like a gourmet at a 5 star michelin restaurant. Life is good, thanks to MLT.

  21. Received my CD ‘s and other merchandise today ! Very exciting ! The more I listen the more I like this album !
Every song is marvelous. Summer Rain , is such a joyful happy song.
    Why ? , Extremely powerful lyrics !!
A total team effort by all of you !!
Much success will come from this album !!

  22. I’m very happy today..why?…because “WHY” and some “pretty little things” are in my hands… Thanks dear girls 💛❤️

  23. Just got back from a vacation and was very excited to find that my order for WHY, the calendar, the Christmas CD and set of 4 handwritten lyrics had arrived. I had already listened to the album several times through the gift of streaming but immediately had to play the CD. Sounds terrific on my audio setup (just a wee bit better than my IPhone!).
As mentioned previously the lyrics in the black envelope personalized to me is a great touch and greatly appreciated.
    Carry on!

  24. I’m off from work on Tuesday mornings, and the weather was nice today, so I went for a walk. When I got back I was delighted to find Mona and Lisa waiting for me, casually leaning against the wall by my front door, in sticker form, on a package. What a pretty little thing! Time to make show!

    1. That’s awesome news David! 👍😎 There’s certainly nothing as joyful as finding a much anticipated MLT parcel waiting for you. I remember the first time when Orange was released and finding this huge MLT box of goodies waiting for me, unimaginable feeling. My CD player broke down I played it so much HAHAHA, good thing I have the Jukebox stream to keep me going!

  25. Received my package today (it is still October 24 here). Thank you very much. It is great that you take the time to sign all our things. It makes everything special. A big reason why you have such a loyal fan base is, in addition to your outstanding musicianship, you always make us feel like we are part of your journey!

The envelope in which the Studio Scribbles are packaged and sealed is a wonderful touch. It is both formal and personal. It is nice seeing my name hand-written on the envelope and the MonaLisa Twins seal on the back. It is a keepsake in itself and a safe place to keep them until I figure out where to put them.
We can see the process of the songs as they were being created; from the chords in parts, to the purposeful doodles, to the pasted sticky notes, and even the tea cup ring in “I Bought Myself a Politician”. All of you worked so hard, and created a masterpiece!

Finally, have to say…”Pretty Little Thing” is a special gift to us in the MLT Club who witnessed Neve’s adventure in real-time. Thank you for that gift. Most of all, the song is also a gift created by you for the entire Wagner family, and that’s relevant and important!

  26. Phenomenal. With this album you have out-sixtied the sixties.

It seems that so much has come together for you to make it possible to create such an album. It so effectively combines darkness and light, concepts of entrapment and liberation, but ultimately free choice and, above all, love. This music is sophisticated and complex and yet so very accessible. Thank you, Wagners Four.

    Ed

  27. I’m debating whether to go ahead and listen now, or surprise myself with what I haven’t heard when my order arrives. I really cannot wait for the release on vinyl. Such a dilemma. I’ll figure it out. I love you all. So happy that the long awaited album is out. Stay Safe. God Speed. Stay Groovy!🌹❤️🤘

  28. WOW!!! I am just getting to this, we came back from a wedding in Siesta Keys in Florida for my god child and first thing I did was go to this stream of Why and OMG this is perfect! I am just floored to be honest. I feel this is one of many posts I am going to put up for this great new album. So first? The vocal’s and harmonys are pitch perfect. You both compliment each other so well, Brian hit all the right points with this album. Thanks Brian! Second? The order in which all these songs appears is brilliant. 3rd? The production is fantastic and 4th? The song writing is something John and Paul would put together in my book, your song writing is so true and from the heart, it is a joy to hear and witness. Your song writing is growing stronger and stonger to me. If you rasie your head is a great track to start with. Keith Richards once said if you got a good riff? That takes you to places that you would never think of and this song does that to me. Now don’t get me wrong that is just one example, Songbird is lovely and Jump Ship is beyond words etc…So I am stopping now to go back and play this again and again ….LOL…Thank you so much for sharing your musical journey with us and a shout our to Pa Rudi and Michaella the 4 of you are simply put THE BEST. With love and hugs from me and Maddie

Bill and Maddie Isenberg Huge fans from Pittsburgh PA USA

  29. The more that I listen to Why? the more I am in awe of it. What a treasure!
I just have to say another huge THANK YOU to the four of you for making this musical masterpiece.
    All the best. 🙂

  30. Now it is finished, I can only say wow what a wonderful album. I ‘ve got already a favorite song it is Summer Rain. I could not wait a second longer. Last I have to say you are one of best singer- songwriter since Simon and Garfunkel. I ‘m in love with your 2 voices very unique.

  31. the album is great. but there are only 2 words that come to mind. thank you. i don’t know if you ladies realize the effect your music has on people. i listen all the time. i’m happy finding you on youtube.
    again thank you.
take the rest of the year off then start #4.

  32. Never, ever, stop producing lyrics about things that you feel strongly about! The music is phenomenal but it is the message that makes “WHY?” such an outstanding album.

The people in the world (or, at least, my professional world) have lost their respect for each other, which has left me in a pretty lousy state over the past few days. I guess this is one of the reasons why I am on the MLT site as often as I am. In addition to the outstanding music, the community of members are outstanding. It is not something that you find in a great deal of places.

Anyhow, enough of that. Everything in “WHY?” both provides excellent musicianship and a “recognition and reboot” message, which is so appropriate. The mix of musical genres is wide and varied, and of voices of both Mona and Lisa are in top form. Of the new songs, “Make Show”, “Why”, “Pretty Little Thing” and “Any Other Day” are my favorites but that will change as I listen more and more. It is nice that the last song is Neve’s, but we could have guessed that she would play a role in the album!

Well done…take a well-deserved break before you begin the album promotion process!

  33. What I love about the MonaLisa Twins is how you manage your personal integrity through your music. I never feel you attacking something, but it is clear what you feel really good about. You bring Love to everything that you write and sing. I don’t know how long we will have the very good fortune to have you in our lives, but I hope it is a very long time. On more than one occasion, your music has lifted me out of a really bad moment and filled me back up again with hope and optimism. You are both very responsible artists and you truly use your art to lift humanity up a couple of steps through your vision and the way you process your own lives and your experiences. I think if reincarnation is in my future, I hope to come back as a Baby Neve cared for by Mona and Lisa. Now that is something to look forward to in dark times. Why, you ask… ? Because you are such quality beings.

  34. Wow.. simply “wow”.. a wonderful, fantastic album, great to hear from the first to the last track.. I’d like to talk a lot about the artistic and technical part of this album.. vocal harmonies, instrumental, about the magical talent and light from Mona and Lisa, about the mixing, artwork, cover etc but ..I can only say..Wagner family ..you guys are fantastic. So I’ll summarize what I think about the album WHY.. Why the WHY album is wonderful for me? Because I loved all the tracks. Because I’ve heard it dozens of times and I can’t get tired of hearing it. Because every note, every vocal harmony enchants me. Because I still couldn’t choose a favorite song.. they are all favorites. Because I can’t wait to get my hands on it, because it was made with great skill, talent and dedication by Mona and Lisa and the amazing Wagner family!. PS … The song “Pretty Little Thing”, put the sweet Neve in our hearts forever.!… WWT, ORANGE and now WHY.. They are fantastic…Why? because it’s an MLT album…Thanks Dear Girls…Stay Groovy 👏👏👏
    💛❤️

  35. Just finished listening to the six new songs and I have to say it was worth the wait. Brought tears to my eyes a few times. You have put a lot of thought and hard work into this album. Your musicianship continues to amaze me. This club allows you to write and produce songs that the mainstream music business may shy away from. I admire your honesty and courage to speak your minds in these songs. I also find it interesting that your music remains in the sixties style but also seems completely new. You have wholly embraced this style and made it your own. Thank you ladies for what you do.

  36. There are several things to like about this album. It shows a lot of hard work and the music is great. A few songs jump out at me initially: Songbird, Any Other Day, Why?, and Pretty Little Thing. In the US and England Songbird is the nickname of a US singer who was more popular in England than in the US but her popularity did increase in the US. I’m not sure if you had her in mind when you wrote the song, but the lyrics fit her in some respects. The other three songs are just interesting. I am sure that over time that other songs on the album will be just as interesting to me just like it happened with Orange. So, based on a very quick listen it is a strong album with many songs to love. Mike.

    1. Thanks for listening and for the kind words, Mike!
For the song “Songbird” we didn’t have a particular person, or one-off story in mind but wanted to write about the universal experience of finding one’s own way and the bittersweetness of letting go. I like that you recognize other people’s journey in the song too. Funnily, as I’m sitting here typing, I have a little injured bird in a cage behind me that we are currently nursing back to health so ever since writing this song, the story has manifested itself quite “literally” too (First our gosling Neve and now another bird) haha.
Glad you’re really enjoying some of the songs ♥

      1. I really loved that part at the end of the Songbird video where you let go of the red balloon and it soared away onto another adventure. Part of loving is being able to let go! 🎈❤

  37. Wow.

It’s nearly impossible to express what I want to say about ‘Why?’. I came into my first couple of times listening to the album in the misguided mindset of comparing it to Orange. I wanted to ask “What’s the ‘That’s Life’?” or “ Where’s the ‘Once Upon a Time’?”

Then I stopped and just listened.
    And listened.
    And again.
Just like I did with Orange.
    Cool. 😎

If I were a music critic, I might be able to offer better feedback than “every song is extremely listenable and they form a cohesive whole.” But in the end, its got meaning and depth, dance and romance. It’s coming up roses. 🌹🌹🌹

I thought I was told not to bet on that…

Fortunately, it turns out we all win that bet this time. Wow.

    1. “Comparison is the thief of joy” but we know how difficult it is not to 🙂 Thank You for listening to the album and for taking it all in. We really appreciate the kind words ♥

  38. Hello Ladies,
What an incredible experience and such an amazing opportunity to listen to Why? In its entirety. .
Well Done Ladies and Team MLT! !
Make Show, Destination Sunrise, and the Rest of their Wonderful Album sounds like the Psychedelic 60s Era in alot of ways.
There is a very special song foe all of us that follow you on this Album; Pretty Little Thing. We know this is about Ultra Cute Neve 😍 💕. What a Bonus to hear Neve singing Background!!
Maria will really enjoy Any Other Day. ❤️ 😍 💖
Thanks Again Ladies! This made my week!
All the best to each of you

  39. Why, the song is one hell of a production!!!! My God it is absolutely overwhelming and Magnificent. The entire album flows from beginning to end. Mona, the drums in all the songs sound so good and I think that is a mouth box, right? Honestly, you all put everything in this album!!!! The arrangements on all the songs are just great!! The lyrics are absolutely beautiful in all the songs, I can’t tell which one I like more!!! But WHY is very powerful!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. THANK YOU WALT!!! Yes, that is a mouth box on “Raise Your Head” 🙂 I didn’t have a lot of experience with it prior so that recording session was a hell of a lot of fun. ♥

      1. Hi Lisa, you are really trying a lot of new things, your guitar playing is fantastic!!!! Congrats!!!

  40. A big question comes to mind, which song from the album will be featured in the new video coming out with the official album release on the 29th? I’m so curious, the anticipation builds yet again! 😁 🎵🎥Love it!

    1. I’m guessing it’s Pretty Little Thing. If I remember correctly, they said a few weeks ago that they were filming Neve for an upcoming music video.

    2. I’ll put in my vote for ‘Destination Sunrise’. I absolutely can’t get enough of the driving groove of this song. Super catchy. It also really embodies the hopeful call to action of the album. I can just see a Lisa-drawn “endless runner” style animation taking us past all the monochrome dark broken bits of the world into the colorful new light.

    3. We don’t want to give away the surprise early 🙂
If we finish it in time, we’ll post it to the early access section on Friday!

      1. And what a magnificent piece of work the video is Lisa! Wow, your facial expressions express so much, and I can see it is just an extension of your expressive music, genius! Endlessly impressed and in love with your music and talent. 💛❤ Thank you so much.

  41. I just got done listening to the new album, Why? It was worth the wait! The guitar work & drums are excellent, along with the lyrics. MLT just keeps getting better & better. Thank you for giving us an early listen!

  42. Just wanted to take a minute to thank you girls for giving us the album a week early. The anticipation has been pretty tough. I’ve been listening for about 8 hours now and can’t pick a favorite. I was wondering how you were going to outdo Questionable.
    Now I know.
    Again thanks so much.
Must get back to my listening pleasure❤❤❤

  43. “Any Other Day” sounds like it would fit in quite comfortably on a Klaatu album. Fantastic. “Destination Sunrise” should be a worldwide hit if the world were just and fair. Brilliant! Enjoying all the layers I uncover on each song with each listen. Thank you MLT for making such a beautiful album for us to enjoy.

    1. I completely agree with you on Destination Sunrise. We need to start to spread its HOPE everywhere. Maybe I’ll send it to a lighthouse keeper or two…

  44. I went to bed with this album and woke up soaked in it, smiling. I liked everything, including the ones that, as music often does, just drifted over my head, uncomprehended.

But what I was most excited about was “Any Other Day.” Immediately understandable and so meticulously crafted—an instant classic that could fit neatly into the great American songbook—except not American. Every word, every rhyme, and, every phrase, starting with “any other day,” seems to shoot straight to heart. The big “what if,” all cast in such everyday language that it could be happening to you, right this minute. The way the second lines of the verses keep rolling along past what you thought was a stop sign just seems to cement the inevitability of this flukey meeting. And consider the sweet perfection of “any other day,” “any other face” and “any other you.”

I don’t know that we’ve ever heard this kind of heartfelt love story from the MonaLisa Twins before. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if really more or less happened to at least one of them.

  45. My “pretty good” over-the-ear earphones are on; I never listen to your music with less. So much is going on in this album, and I wouldn’t want to miss anything.

“Why” is a wonderful piece of work, a masterful production, a complex mix of songs of love and nature and fun, interwoven with the “Why” songs of politics and lies and war. It’s the deepest and most complicated of anything you’ve done so far. While it always takes me time to let a new album soak in, I find I love what you’ve done.

I may tend to listen to the softer, comforting songs more, but if so, it’s because I want to escape from my everyday thoughts of “Why”.

This album paints a picture of what I feel and see every day. I hope the frustrations we have with those in power don’t keep us from seeing the beauty all around us – we’re lost if they do. Perhaps today won’t be just “any other day”.

  46. This is a fantastic album from top to bottom! Each song is stylistically unique, yet all are eminently listenable. A milestone achievement in MLT’s musical legacy.
Among the songs we hadn’t heard yet, Why? makes the strongest first impression on me. The a cappella vocals at the beginning put me in the mind of the Beatles’ Because. The delivery is beautiful and fierce at the same time with regard to both the lyrics and the musical methodology. And the message, although borne of current circumstances, is phrased broadly enough to serve as a timeless touchstone for those dealing with a world gone mad.

    1. I seem to recall from somewhere that when the Beatles played Hamburg early in their career, the audience would shout “Machen show!” to get the lads on stage. Great song to start with!

      1. It would be great exposure if you could get booked on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon as musical guests, with Paul McCartney and/or Ringo Starr as a regular guest, and y’all could discuss their memories of those heady days! Do you think Papa Rudy and/or Ms. Michaela could arrange that? That’d be just awesome! Only thing I can think of that would be better would be to be flown out to see the show live myself! Rock On!
        Stay Groovy!
        Dee

    2. Hi David, well said, the song “Why” has a powerful moving impact on me too. Such a masterpiece, that I think very few artists can achieve. I feel a rock and roll meets classical effect there like Bohemian Rhapsody. It will be a timeless touchstone indeed on the nature of the world that seems to never learn from history.

      1. I agree! I only wish it were about 3 minutes longer! LOL. It gave me the slightest glimpse of what a treat it would be if the ladies forayed into prog.

      2. Roger, I don’t want Why to end when I start listening to it. 😁 I think it is officially their longest song so far at 5.5 minutes, and their most complex and magnificent too.

  47. Thank you very Munch😊
Just as i predicted – you hit the spot👍😊
    As always – brilliant…
Thank you, thank you, thank you🤩

  48. Wonderful songs! It´s a pleasure to hear your new music with all this different rhythms and your beautiful vocal harmonies! It´s a great work! Thank you Ladies!

  49. I can not say it in the nice words Jung Roe uses, but to say it simple it is a great album; it does not get boring, 12 different songs. I have listened now a few times and each time I hear something new. Thanks for all the joy it already gives and will give in the future.

  50. The guitar work in If You Raise Your Head is phenomenal! It reminds me of Lisa’s superb guitar work in Samba Pa Ti, but fast forward 15 years and even more polished and honed to perfection.
I just can’t get enough of the interplay between the operatic vocal harmony and violins in “Why?”! Absolutely sublime and moving. So much incredible passion and longing asking the question Why? Bach and Beethoven would be smiling if they heard this!

  51. What more can I.say about this album other than its brilliant Its worth the wait
I love janitor Joe and destination sun rise the title track is brilliant
Well.done mona lisa on another brilliant Album

  52. TGIF!

I remember the first time I listened to Dark Side of the Moon. I remember the first time I listened to Sgt Peppers. I remember the first time I listened to Orange. I will always remember the first time I heard Why? You chicks rock!

Oh wait…Is that a talk box? Sounds really groovy. Wow, there is a lot to digest here. I love the subtle sound effects and assorted what-not’s you add to your mix. We have the whole weekend free. We will call it “The Weekend Of Why?”

I think Mona’s rant at the end of Jump Ship sounds reminiscent of Roger Waters. 😇

This is so exciting. It feels like we have been watching a documentary of Why? In real time. Congratulations again. It sounds amazing. I will have more praise after more listens.

    JP & Marlo
(Marlo hasn’t listened yet. I can’t wait for her to hear Any Other Day. This one pulled me in right away. If I ‘didn’t have love on my side…)

    1. Hi JP, Why has the richness and depth of those great iconic albums for sure. It’s a brilliant work of art masterpiece. I instantly fell in love with Any Other Day too, it just grabbed me. Love the effect of the flute part too, wow! A “weekend of Why” indeed!

      1. Hi Diana,

I get a soundtrack vibe from Any Other Day. Listen to it again and imagine credits rolling in the opening of a sitcom titled “Any Other Day” where two charming sisters try to survive the daily challenges of life and love in the music business. Not suggesting an MLT sitcom, that would be silly. But I do get that vibe from this song. It’s another timeless classic with that great MLT sound.

I am always impressed with the overall quality of these home recordings. I think Rudi’s really got it going on with the final mix. This production sounds huge. I have actually given up on a few artists after they release something with a crappy recording. These are crystal clear and perfectly balanced. Earbuds recommended, but I am dying to hear it on our home stereo. Let’s see what the neighbors think.

        JP ☕️☕️

  53. I’ve been waiting and waiting to listen to this and here I am, traveling out of town with no way to play this on good ear phones or decent speakers. This is killing me but I refuse to try and listen to this masterpiece until I can do it justice. That means I will have to wait until Wednesday!!! Arrrgh!!!

    1. Hi Stephen,

We are visiting our son this weekend. We wanted to listen on the two hour drive, but the cell reception is terrible along that ride. So we decided to put it off until we got to our son’s place. I just listened to it now that we are here with Wi-Fi. It was worth the wait. Trust me, it will still be great Wednesday.
      Have a great weekend!
      JP

      1. Thanks PJ. Have a great visit at your son’s. When I get back home I will be sharing this with the whole neighborhood.

  54. Summer Rain caught my ear and I kept playing it over and over, hearing new things each listen, the sure sign of a hit song. Excellent album offers the steadfast M-L beautiful harmonies, beautiful ballads, some good old rock n roll, thought provoking lyrics, new and interesting lead and bass lines, some bluesy bits, just plain good stuff.

  55. I anticipated an incredible, diverse new album from team MLT. Well, I didn’t set my sights nearly high enough! I’ll try not to drone on with the endless praise this work of art richly deserves; just a quick overview and a brief first impression of each song.
Overall I’m struck first by the rich harmonies and other vocalizations, and Mona’s drum work throughout is AMAZING! Seemingly more noticeable than on previous original albums, and deserving of the utmost praise! SUPERB, wonderfully funky at times, guitar artistry abounds! Awesome backing keyboards and bass (Rudolph, I assume) pair perfectly as do tidbits of flute, cello, bongos?, various other percussion and, if I’m not mistaken, maybe a subtle hint of Pietro maybe? Subsequent playbacks brought deeper appreciation of the incredible lyrical soul of the album. Your beautiful hearts are openly on display here without doubt!
Now a brief first impression of each song:
“Make Show”: Instantly addictive and mesmerizing!
“IBMa Politician”: Buy me, I’m cheap… strike that…free for the asking.
“Janitor Joe”: Joe’s already an old friend and kindred spirit. A comfort song begging indulgence!
“Questionable”: PERFECTION! You be the judge if I’m referring to the song, the video, or Mona and Lisa…
“Destination Sunrise”: Combines many of the aspects I love so much about MLT!
“Summer Rain”: Sublimely calming and soothing.
    “Songbird”: Uplifting and Cat Stevens-esque.
“Jump Ship”: Thought-provoking with a multitude of possible interpretations.
“Any Other Day”: Wonderful beyond words. Seriously; speechless over here!
“If You Raise Your Head”: FUN-FUN-FUNKY!
“Why?”: Haunting harmonies from beginning to end and deeply meaningful lyrics. Is this your “Imagine”?
“Pretty Little Thing”: Neve-tastic! Goose-tacular! Mega-catchy, too! Pure fun!
In summary: WOW, WOW, WOW! and THANK YOU!!!!!

  56. Hi Mona and Lisa. All I can say is I am in awe! This is the best music experience and album I’ve ever owned, bar none! After a week of listening to it, I’ve prepared a little review below:

    1. Album Review: Part 1
The album “Why” is a brilliant artistic masterpiece in music! I love every song on it. Mona and Lisa express their own musical style and define their own genre in this album right from the first track like “Make Show”(wonderful), inspired by the great music legends they admire and love like the Beatles. Their vocals and harmonies are more beautiful and dynamic than ever, their guitar work takes new heights and is absolutely brilliant, and there is wonderful guitar work throughout the entire album like in songs Destination Sunrise, If Your Raise Your Head, I Bought Myself a Politician, which is extremely rare these days. Love that guitar progression in Make Show. The melodies and musical effects are so moving, evoking powerful emotions, and joy that reaches deep inside to your core like Songbird, Jump Ship, Any Other Day, and Why just to name a few. Mona and Lisa prove once again, they are brilliant master song writers. There are places where I am so moved by the music, I feel tears of joy wanting to pour out of me. The lyrics are so inspired, shedding light on these turbulent and problematic times and asking why does the world ignore what’s really going on with it’s head buried in the sand. The songs are full of beauty, joy, and grit! There are also great moments of just happiness and wonder in songs like “Janitor Joe”, “Questionable”, “Summer Rain”, and “Any Other Day”. I’m in love with “Any Other Day”! There is so much diversity in music in the album.

      1. Album Review: Part 2
“Why?” is to MLT what Stairway to Heaven is to Led Zeppelin, what Bohemian Rhapsody is to Queen, and “Why?” holds it’s own against these iconic songs, every bit as amazing and inspired! For me it’s the magic bullet, that could move people to change.
From the very beginning with those harmonies, almost like an operatic chorus, it just moves you, and then those strings/violin parts, are an absolute joy. It is so stirring. It’s an amazing rock song with the elegance of classical, that together is so rich and beautiful, and the lyrics are so intriguing, and makes me feel the question why?, with so much passion. Why is the world this way?

      2. Album Review: Part 3
“Pretty Little Thing”, in context to these times reminds us what really matters, a sweet little baby goose, so innocent and fragile, so full of love, needs protecting and saving. Hearing little Neve chirping and singing melts your heart, it gets right down to the child in all of us, and perhaps underscores the theme and message of the album, this planet and humanity is worth saving from the path of destruction it’s on (Destination Sunrise). Humanity is hiding in a cloud of fear, corruption, deception, greed, and hate. For me the album is about courage, and making change. Humanity has its head buried in the sand. “If you raise your head, you can see the future, if you raise your head, you can see the past, if you raise your head, you’re not afraid at last” (If You Raise Your Head). “But staying here won’t save your neck!!!!! (Jump Ship).

I think this album belongs in the ranks of the Rolling Stones Greatest Albums Of All Time list, somewhere near the very top. It’s really that amazing and brilliant.

        Jung

    1. I love the contrast at the end of the album, where the music of “Why” takes you up into an incredible powerful climax, and then you hear Neve! Your heart melts to the sweetness of “Pretty Little Thing”. Just absolutely brilliant album, the way everything fits together so perfectly. As Brian Wilson said of the Beatles masterpiece Rubber Soul: “how could they possibly make an album where the songs all sound like they come from the same place?” “Why” is like that, with an artistic unity, and a thematic arc across the whole album.

  57. More in depth analysis later, but what I hear is the Twins despairing over their love lives and I am the only one who can bring love and everlasting happiness to their lives.
But I might have a slightly bias view about this. Possibly.😜🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  58. Allright ,Allright !!
I’m still digesting your new album.
Destination Sunrise really got my attention so far !
Pretty Little Thing. Neve is a star also !
I feel there is definitely a top ten hit in there !
    Will say more later.

  59. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ This is awesome! So far: Why, If You Raise Your Head, Summer Rain, Destination Sunrise are the ones I seem to connect with most. However, I haven’t listened to all of the tracks yet. Great work! Well worth the wait. 😊😊

  60. Another MLT Weekend Marathon . Love the the new album, too many good songs to pick a favorite. Thank you so much for sharing.

  61. Instantly lovable! Just finished listening and will go right back and listen again. And again… Arrangements are superb, as are the lyrics, dense harmonies and
    instrumentation. Love the additional keyboards!
Music that soothes the soul. Thx again for creating this music. Please don’t take too long of a break!!

  62. My first response is, WOW! So very different from your other cd’s. I love all the musicianship, especially the guitars and the bass lines. It all comes together so well. It’s going to take me some time to know what my favorites are…and there are many. So cool that you allowed Neve to join in! It is a lot to take in on first listen. Must listen MORE! Congratulations Mona and Lisa and Rudi and Michaela!

  63. fantastic, what a voice. To be serious I am so proud of you and the Wagner family. You poured your hearts out to create such a beautiful inspiring album and all the videos you have made; well, you made my entire week!!!! It
is a mix that anyone can listen to, from all the instruments and Lisa I loved the Wah-Wah!!!!!! The song Why is appropriate and fantastic!!!!! Stay Groovy, now take a break!!!

  64. Hooray- Received all today and I have listened to the songs I haven’t heard as of yet, I must say Pretty Little Thing was a big surprise! Neve you are absolutely

  65. I haven’t looked at any other responses…didn’t want to get influenced with others thoughts…..before today we all knew of the 6 songs you had previously released through the Club and the 3 videos……I had initially mentioned way back when “I Bought Myself a Politician” that it definitely didn’t have a 60s sound to it…and it doesn’t…what it does have is a contemporary sound in which you sing a truthful song about politics…..politics that we or I thought you’d never delve into …and now the song “Why ?” is all about the world problems and you avoid taking a left or right side…very clever…gotta love it…..”Make Show” is a kick-ass song to get it all started ..absolutely loved it……from the first time I heard “Janitor Joe” I knew it would be one of my favorites before hearing whatever else was on the album…I think “Captain” Janitor Joe is out there with David Bowie’s Starman traveling the galaxy…..then there’s “Questionable” a song that I think is probably the Greatest Song musically and lyrically that you girls have ever written and it too is a contemporary song that should resonate with today’s youth….if I was still a country music radio DJ I would be playing “Destination Sunrise” …..and “Pretty Little Thing” I absolutely adore the late 50s sound and I’ll bet that’s little NEVE helping out with the vocals😂….you did manage to get some 60s sound …even a little psychodelic influence with great guitar work in “If You Raise Your Head” and “Jump Ship”……”Summer Rain” and “Songbird” just simply a couple of beautiful songs……”Any Other Day” reminds me of John Lennon’s lyrics “ Life happened while I was busy making plans”……….that’s it for me…gonna check out everybody else’s comments now…….Mona and Lisa and Papa Rudi congrats on a fabulous album…and Michaela great job on getting all these sales orders together and sent out…I got my notice today that mine has been shipped…..THANK YOU ALL ❤️🧡

  66. How do you make angry protest songs sound so beautiful? This was definitely worth the wait! I can’t wait for my CD to arrive.

  67. Just finished my first listening of WHY?…WOW! Mona and Lisa and family, you have produced the best album I have heard in a long time! It has that late-sixties vibe, the harmonies are flawless, and the overall production is sooo well done. But then, that’s why we all love you two. You work hard at your talent and you always give your best! Well, I could go on and on, but I’ll have mercy and stop. You have put a smile on this old guys face that will take a while to wipe off! 😁🎶❤️

  68. Whoa…. Phenomenal … Worth the wait… Love the variety of musical directions creatively that which you intertwined but yet distinctively unique with one another !!!!! Kudos on this.. The world best embrace itself for what’s coming October 29 th 2022 ….
Thankyou for streaming… Now even more #MLTBuzzLuvGroovified and eager for mailbox arrival ….in near future… 🤘💜💎

  69. The CD is still winging its way down under but I’ve just had a listen via the stream.
Thanks for providing that to club members early.
Love the guitar and keyboard work in If You Raise Your Head. My favourite part of the album at this early stage.

  70. I loved it. Why? Because it was excellent (Album title joke, couldn’t resist). Every song was a joy to hear. You should be very proud of this album. 🙂

  71. Wonderful! No deep analysis from me, I’m simply blown away with the whole album. Thank you so much for once again sharing your incredible talents with us. Playing on repeat!!!

  72. As noted in the general forum I got my CD yesterday! My favorite track is “Pretty little thing”! An ode to Neve!
I was hoping for a few rockers on the album, maybe next time? And as always thanks for the extras as well, it’s a very nice touch an appreciated.

  73. Orange was such a terrific album, I wondered whether Why? would measure up. Having listened this one a couple times now I think it’s at least as good as Orange…and in some ways better. I’m not sure your singing can get much better. It’s always been at such a high level. But your songwriting and musicianship seems to have advanced to a new level IMO. There are some real strong songs in here. I still love the satiric wit of Politician and Objectionable. Such clever lyrics. Any Other Day reminds me of some of my favorite joyful MLT tunes of the past (and so fun to hear Mona unpack her most ambitious flute solo). If You Raise Your Head was a 60’s time trip. Percussion on that is great. And Lisa’s guitar riff is my favorite of hers to date. Am I hearing a bit of a Stones tribute thing going on with those background vocals? I enjoyed that immensely. Why? poses some questions we’re all asking these tense days. It’s a beautiful production and worthy of being the album’s title track. Finally, a ‘guest vocal’ on Pretty Little Thing to send us out. Thanks for that. I quacked a smile. I’m watching my mail for the CD. I know I’ll be playing it often in the weeks and months to come. Five stars.

  74. What a great present you ‘ven us!!
This album is so fantastic, thank you family Wagner!! I sure hope everyone is going to buy this album. It has got sixties, psychadelics, ballads and off course its groovy. Yet it has the famous mlt harmonies. You created your own sound, thank you

  75. Why are all the posts now hiding the author’s name? Or is it just me? At least I can see in the sidebar at the right if it’s a recent enough entry.

  76. I just received the CD today that I preordered and I listened to it and I like it. Thank you very much for your music and giving us a chance to own your beautiful music that you put out.

  77. What an awesome day!!! Being able to stream this masterpiece of an album AND having my WHY album and merch arrive all on the same day! It’s nearly too much joy to bear all at once!! I fell in love at first listen with the entire album, every single track and I’m looking forward to hearing it again and again. Thank you, MLT team, for your artistry and hard work. You are a blessing our world badly needs.

    1. Now that is a special day…having both the stream and your “WHY?” merch arrive on the same day. Outstanding karma, to say the least!

  78. Awesome! Your voices have really evolved beautifully, the harmonies are soothingly addictive. Cute letting Neve close it out.

  79. Having a listen tonight and will be back on here after the weekend to give my views in a follow up comment. Without listening to an opening bar yet, I am CERTAIN this will be another MLTs masterpiece! Love the cover art and all the songs that have been released so far.

  80. Great album but Mona & Lisa ask me to keep it private and within the MLT Club until the 29th. Does that mean I can’t stream it to my Hi Fi and play it at what I refer to as ‘concert volume’ which is basically loud enough to be heard throughout the tenement and beyond? 🤔😜
    *removes tongue from cheek*
On first listen I love it, not a duff track to be found. I’ll be taking the time and effort to get deeper into the songs but Poltician, Destination Sunrise and Summer Rain get my early vote

  81. The album Why? WOW!
So true about the world today.
Absolutely love the song Why? with the questions it asks and how it builds and builds anxiety and keeps doing this to a point that leaves you hanging in the air when the song ends and then you get an instant release with Pretty Little Thing which leaves you open mouthed in wonder of what just happened. Genius!
Thank you for this treasure and to keeping real music alive! All my best, always. 🙂

    1. Thank YOU Dana! It feels SO good to have the music out there now (well, almost!) and we thank everyone for taking the time to take it all in.

  82. I’ve listened to it four times now and love the flow and tempo of the song line-up better each time. That’s fabulous to accomplish even though it will be different for each listener to feel the same way. Any other Day was a great song that I’m glad to held back till the album was released. In fact nearly all of the “mystery” were a treat to hear for the first time. You’ve got a piece of art here you need to feel proud of especially considering the world’s situation that you had to record it under. Still not sure if the lockdown was a positive or a negative situation when it comes to the songs you created.
Take a bow and get ready to perform live again.

  83. Thank you ladies. Today is my birthday and it was the worst birthday that I ever had. I think that it is time to retire. Looking forward to listening, in earnest, to all the new tracks. It will make a miserable day better.

    1. Hi Christopher, hope you are doing well, despite the bad day. I hope you can find some solace in the new album. Any Other Day can make any day better I think.
      Take care
      Jung

    2. We sent you your birthday email yesterday but we’ll say it here too: Happy Birthday! We’re sorry to hear it was a bad day … hopefully your weekend will look brighter! We wish you only the best!

    3. Thank you and your welcome Mona!! Wow, made my day. I am amazed by the WHY album. You guys aren’t just two pretty faces! And Christopher, it’s always been my opinion some of the best people were born on October 21st.

  84. Why? The entire album is wonderful. It is as sweet as an “Orange”🤔
Well balanced and rounded like a Orange. Most definitely stands out on its own just like an “Orange” Wh? Because I love this album like Orange. Yet I can’t really compare it like apples and Oranges because Why? Is an awesome album.

  85. Well, here we go! Blast Off! On first listening, musically, it certainly is a guitar album. Otherwise, themes of international geo-politics, local, on the ground politics, human consciousness, human aspiration, and all manner of sub plots and themes. Now, if we could only get Mona and Lisa on The United Nations, or the Inter Galactic Mission To The Restoration Of Planet Earth. But then again, maybe they’re already there!

  86. I continue to fall deeper and deeper in love with the MonaLisa Twins as their music matures amazingly and fills me with cool melodies and exceptional lyrics. Girls, I think Destination Sunrise has some truly excellent musicianship and instrument choices and deliveries. I personally think that Any Other Day is one of the most lyrically strong and fresh songs I have heard in years… phenomenally unique. Your harmonies – always warm and beautiful – have strengthened even more as your voices develop with talent, effort and intent. Is Pretty Little Thing an homage to Neve? … bless her little heart. From one artist to my favorite artists, I send you love, wishes for success and my deep admiration for the excellence of Mona and Lisa Wagner. You are your own planet in a very loving galaxy.

    1. Thank you Brian for the well-wishes. Yes, “Pretty Little Thing” was an homage to Neve, the cutest fluffball we ever had the pleasure to know 🙂
      Truly appreciate your words!

  87. I’m only 20 seconds in and already blown away!! Those drums and harmonies have me spellbound!! Just have to put in a brief comment before I take an amazing trip…
I’ll write more when I return

  88. Wow! I have so far been able to resist listening to any of the songs except for the three on Youtube, wanting to wait until I had the CD in hand. But now I can stream the whole album! And I have six more hours in my work day, sitting at my computer by myself, with that play button just inches away. What to do??? My willpower is getting weak. Don’t know how much longer I can hold out…

  89. The song Why? Is just as mind indulgence just like the thought provoking of the music of the 60’s. I like the over 5 minutes length. Music way back in time was long. Modern 2-3 minute songs came about as commercials. Story telling in music should be longer. We do live in the instant quick society. Like Tic Toc sound bites. Why is a wonderful classic for our time and will prevail for times to come.

  90. Other than a “wow”, I will need to delay my full analysis of this album, pending a lot of run throughs . I love the songs that are brand new to us, they un-release ones.
This album reminds me of Pet Sounds; there is a lot going on here and it will require a lot of listening to unpack all of it. But on first listen – BRAVO Ladies! I am happy and proud of your artistry.
