There is so much to reflect on this past year, and we will spend the last few hours of 2021 going over our favourite memories with friends and family over a good meal.
We also wanted to check in with you all with a final video of the year and say a personal Thank You for your support over these past 12 months. There sure have been some challenges but also so may pockets of joy and love. Thank you for being there with and for us!
As we mention in the video, we have spent the last week roughly outlining some plans for the year ahead, and during scheduling we made the tough decision to skip MLT Club posts on Tuesdays for the next few weeks, maybe months.
We really want to make good, fast progress on our album these next couple of months. We know that most of you are just as eager to finally see it realised, so we thought we would try and find a balance between that and MLT Club content.
Don’t worry, we have a lot of exciting, new ideas for Friday posts so hopefully that will make up for the missing Tuesday content for the next while!

Thank you to those of you who were supportive about my visit to see my mother on 27th December. Your wishes and prayers paid off.
I turned up 10 minutes early and after the covid protocols was taken straight up to her room by a member of staff. As we entered the room she said something beginning with H which was unclear but I like to think that it was hello, the young staff member was surprised that she had said something. I chatted to her and she answered me twice, just a yes and a no, and also attempted a smile when I asked if she would, so there was definite interaction. She munched the chocolate buttons that I fed her and had a good drink but didn’t join in when I sang (croaked) a few carols. The allotted time was 30 minutes but as there were so few visitors we were left to it and after 45 minutes she was obviously tired so I gave her my love and left.
The leading nurse on duty was waiting for me as I came out of her room and we discussed our concerns and their plans. Also a note was made of my observations.
From being prepared for the worst and a struggle it was a joyous visit. Alzheimer’s is a strange and horrible thing, you just don’t know what to expect day to day, even hour to hour.
Hi Philip, that is so heartwarming to hear, thanks for sharing that. I’m so happy for you. Our love and persistence with being there for the ones we love no matter what makes a profound difference. It causes miracles in ways we never imagined.

I’d be lying if I said I won’t miss the Tuesday posts, but I fully support your decision and understand the reasons! Not only to concentrate more fully on new music, but, as much of your lives as you already share with us, I think you richly deserve more time to yourselves! I don’t think you’ll ever hear any clubbers complain of neglect. You four are truly special people and have created a wonderful place for us clubbers to interact! Thanks to all of you for your talent and unbelievable dedication to your fans to make 2021 have lots of great MLT memories. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful family to care about.
I hope you had a wonderful-filled Christmas, and I’m glad you had time to relive the love all we in the MLT Club feel for you. I’ve learned this past year especially to enjoy every little happy blessing, and never take for granted those that bring love and joy into my life. Please know that the Wagner family has been a tremendous source of happiness for me and my family and we pray that you are blessed with a healthy and the happiest new year ever! And I wish that for all, my fellow MLT fans especially, as well.
Please enjoy your new album process without stressing for your fans’ sakes. Everything from you is worth waiting for, and you are pretty close to a Duo Sessions part duo album if my count is correct. We’re all patiently waiting for the new joys you’ll bring and share in 2022.

Thanks for the Friday morning video. We were going through MLT withdrawal after the daily vids this month. That was a great idea for the Advent Calendar. We had a lot of fun. Big hugs to Rudi and Michaela for all of their hard work all year. I bet they get a huge thrill seeing all of your success.
Without the Tuesday post, Friday’s will be an even bigger thrill. We love the new songs you have shown us, so we are looking forward to the album.

I can live without the Tuesday posts for the greater good, but I’d be even happier sacrificing them knowing that you were spending the time doing something for yourselves, relaxing, maybe watching a move (*gasp*), basically just enjoying some personal recharge time. Of course, in a way, making an album is really for yourselves, too, but you know what I mean. 😀 You two (four, really) are a bright shining inspiration in my life (and so many countless others). This year has been, yet again, a topsy-turvy one! Everyone who knows me, knows I love to take photos ???? all of the time ????. It drives people up the wall but I do it for memories. I don’t need souvenirs, I have my photos.
This past year two family members grew their angel wings ????????and it has taught me, more than ever, how important it is to enjoy every minute of our lives with the ones we love and capture those moments. Go on holiday ????, laugh with friends ????, catch up over a cuppa ☕, send that text, see that show, go for a walk, play those silly games ⛳???? and tell the people around you how loved they are ????.
2022 should ???? be the best one yet, I get to say, “I do!” again to my soulmate after 20 years of happiness together surrounded by our closest friends and family ❤ and we may finally make it to our happy place after many, many cancellations.

Imagine my surprise this week when reading the February issue of rock magazine MOJO to find a mention of “Austria’s MonaLisa Twins” as part of a review of John Sebastian’s new album where they are described as “winningly upbeat”. Maybe world domination can be achieved!
I’ve also attached a photo of my new Beatles rail wagons for Christmas!! Groovy!

I am new to the club, just discovering you this past November. Immediately I became a big fan. I find a new favorite every few days. Currently I am enjoying the “That’s Life” and the “Bus Stop” videos. In addition to the musicianship, your expressions throughout those two videos are just fun! My wife was singing along to “That’s Life” after I played it a few times in a row when we were wrapping Christmas presents.
Thank you for the guitar pick, card, and the sticker when I ordered my t-shirt. The card and pick are in my living room and the sticker is on my laptop.
