Our First Home Visit To Austria – Photos

The story of how we ended up in Liverpool is well documented, and to cut it short: It was unplanned, spontaneous and extremely swift.

That meant that the news about the move came as an equally big surprise to our family members and friends as they did to us. Our short trip to Ireland turned into a full-on move to England, and we didn’t have a chance to go back to say goodbye to anyone in-between.

It took nearly 6 months until we could make the first proper visit back and spend some time with our extended family and friends to tell the tale of what had happened. We also caught up with our old drummer Philipp Wolf who you can see in countless of our earlier videos.

Here are a few snapshots of that trip. 🙂

  1. Lisa brings a little bit of England back to her homeland. When she bathes, one can not help thinking of a famous painting by John Everett Millais …

  2. Won’t you listen now while I tell you how I feel! Why does Mona’s blue and white dress bring those words to me? Obviously a good time was had by all.

  3. Love it….. The love and joy of reuniting on a return visit to one’s hometown… It clearly shows… A partial line of a John Denver song comes to mind here… “Take Me Home…” etc…. Indeed it was quite an unexpected and fast turn of spontaneity and upheaval but you all managed and it all came to fruition… Gotta just luv that whole group jumping photo…. Reminds me of a Canadian song classic…. “Oh What A Feeling”…. That’s my caption I’d pick for that particular photo !! Thankyou for sharing with us, Appreciated!!

  4. It looked like some happy fun times visiting family and friends. The last picture seemed to capture everyone’s excitement of having you back. Thanks for sharing.
