First Month In Liverpool – Photos

All of these photos were taken during the first month in our new home – Liverpool. Everything was still brand new, we met a gazillion new people and made experiences we didn’t even know were possible a few months prior: From giving a master class at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts to playing our first show at the Cavern Club (more photos of that coming soon). So many things were happening so quickly and we loved every minute of it.

  1. Enjoyed these pix and stories as you’ve shared with these… Gotta Luv the Go To Guitar On Wheels… Or… Guitar2Go… All guitar cases should have wheels… You’ve definitely had delved right into the Liverpool atmosphere and had a go of seeing a plethora of sorts upon your newly arrived status at the time…. Hey… Can I ride them guitar cases?!… I’m small and light enough… I’ll steer them off into GroovyTunes Sunset….

  2. Wow! must have been very heady days indeed. How did you manage to carry those huge backpacks while dragging guitars around at the same time? Now the dulcimer, there’s an interesting instrument. Have you been able to try one out since settled? One would sound fantastic on your new album. How about something in the vein of the Rolling Stones ‘Lady Jane’ or ‘Waiting’ from their Aftermath album!

    1. The guitar dragging is actually super easy, that’s why Dad installed the wheels 🙂
Much easier than if we would have had to carry them and I’m sure it saved us from a lot of blisters on our fingers.
We’ve not had a chance to play a dulcimer since that photo was taken but next time we do we’ll definitely have a go at both of those songs, even if it was just for fun! We never noticed that it was a dulcimer until you pointed it out to us!

  3. It must have been some incredibly adventurous, exciting, fulfilling, and hectic times setting roots in a new world with new people to further your musical journey there. Even a master class eh! I say very fitting as you are both such remarkable and impressive artists and musicians. I do hope the chicken was just visiting. Thanks for sharing.

  4. YAY more photos! What a thrill it must have been (and still must be!) to see all those famous places! LIPA, The George Martin studio, Albert docks, the Liver building, etc. ! Liverpool is very lucky to have you 2 girls.
