  1. I feel so lucky to have found the Twins and being able to listen to this joyful and sublime music every day. Even more so when we have this little peek into heaven that is the MLT Club.
    Thank you!

  2. Certainly, Trudy flew over to Chester. That’s where all the cool, groovy birds hang out. She probably now has an honorary membership to the flock and has told them all about the MonaLisa Twins. They can’t wait for Mona & Lisa to come back and sing to them.

  3. Big congrats to the five winners and big kudos to Team MLT for another inspired giveaway! Don’t worry about Trudy. She obviously knew she was strong enough and ready to leave.
🎶She flew out thru the bedroom window…🎶

  4. Congrats to all the winners! I’m no a guitar player, so it was interesting to learn that there are different picks for different purposes/sounds.

  5. Congratulations to the lucky folks who got picked for the picks! I was happy to have my submission read and to get a positive reaction from the twins.

As for Trudy, I always wondered how you might manage her return to her natural life. I’m a bit surprised she left home without so much as a note at the top of the stairs. I mean, you two gave her everything money could buy! Seriously, though, she was in such rough shape when you found her, the fact that you restored her to a healthy state so that she could make it on her own is the best outcome I think you could’ve had. I hope you feel good about that.

  6. These give-a-ways are fun. We were on the edge of our seats. You are so generous to your fans and to the birds. Congratulations to you lucky winners. Sorry Trudy flew the coop, but she was lucky to be rescued by Team MLT.

    TGIF Everybody!!

    Marlo & JP

Lisa, does blowing someone’s ear out with the tin involve clicking your finger nails on it? Mona was very defensive, so we are guessing she has endured this type of torture.

  7. The story of Trudy’s flight to freedom sounds like it could be an inspiration for one of your next songs. Just beginning to play the guitar I am quite careful with my picks as they are orange (hint, hint). Peace be.

  8. Congratulations to the winners of today’s raffle!

I think trudy appreciates what they did for her when they rescued her.

Thank you Mona and Lisa for another Friday sharing your smile with us.

  9. Tim Arnold couldn’t have put into words any better as to how I feel about today’s post and every weeks post. Below are his comments…

“Congrats to all the lucky winners. I feel like a winner every time I log into the MLT Club. You always bring a smile to my face and a joy to my heart. Good luck to Trudy!!”

    1. Gee thanks Dave, I’m sure most of the members feel the same as we do. This MLT Club is such a great place to come to if you just want to feel good and hang out with some great people.

  10. This was such a fun drawing! Even though I didn’t win (aaarrrrggggggg lol) 😆 It was great listening for the winners and hearing about Trudy, and the other pick stories! Your videos are always positive, fun and entertaining!

  11. Congrats to all the lucky winners. I feel like a winner every time I log into the MLT Club. You always bring a smile to my face and a joy to my heart. Good luck to Trudy!!

  12. Congrats to today’s winners! Sorry to see Trudy go so quick but your healing skills have turned her life around so you can be proud of your efforts at bird husbandry!!

  13. Such a fun giveaway contest! I remember being at concerts and stage performances hoping to catch an errant pick or drumstick that flew from the player’s grips. But nothing will eclipse the night many years ago in Edmonton where Rod Stewart tossed his lead player’s red guitar into the crowd, there was nearly a riot on stage!! But the lucky fan graciously returned the instrument and peace was restored. Maybe there was a deeper story there…
I have a few “orange” picks now as I have maybe mentioned already, I do like them for my acoustic guitars, especially my 12 string Seagull. Electrically, I prefer a smaller medium thickness teardrop shape, a bit more suited to my style of picking technique (if you can call my touch “technique” haha).
Thanks again for more fun and excitement. Always a pleasure to see what you dream up for us!
    Luv always,
    Daryl

  14. My name may not have been drawn but I still feel I won because of the smiles you made! Thank you for the smiles and congrats to the winners.

      2. Hello Jacki, great to hear from you and have been busy with home improvements and Maddie’s softball season in full gear. But I do check in as much as I can to this wonderful web site. I did check out Mona and Lisa’s video on the Fanny from 1971 and that went right by me, I never knew of this group and found it to be very enjoyable. But think about you and Jung often and pray and hope things are well in your part of this crazy world we live in but thank god For Mona and Lisa, they make it all good. My dad’s birthday was on May 31st, ( really my grand father but he rasied me ) he would be 105 years young. Miss him and my mother and my biologial mom to bits every day. But I have my little Maddie to keep my young. So great to hear from you and take care and keep in touch
        Bill

  16. Well done to all the winners.

I think I heard Lisa say in the video that she doesn’t like the thicker plectrums. I understand how thinner ones work well for guitar – especially lead, but I know that Lisa also plays bass and most bass players (me included) mostly use fingers to pluck the strings. Occasionally, I do occasionally use a plectrum on bass and find 1mm ones best, so I wondered if when playing bass, do you ever use a plectrum and is that an occasion when you prefer to use thicker ones?

Hope Trudy comes back – if only to say ‘Thank you’.

  17. Congratulations to all the winners! Very happy for you and wow such a cool gift from Mona and Lisa and the history behind the pics is awesome. I still feel Pic Man eats those lost pics up, ( remember pac man from the 1980″s well this is his evel twin ) Funny thing I just found one yesterday in our bedroom rug by the bed where I sit and play…LOL…thank you both for a great Friday Video and have a super weekend
Love and Hugs from Bill and Maddie Isenberg Huge Fans from Pittsburgh PA USA

    1. Hi Bill
Your pac man reference reminded me some years ago when I received a Christmas card. The card said “hope you enjoy the enclosed gift certificate”, but no gift card. I thought they just forgot to enclose the card. A few days later, I found the card on the carpet under the table with puncture marks all over it. Apparently the card fell out of the envelope when I opened it and went straight into our little puppy Max’s mouth! He lived up to his nickname we gave him, the “alligator”. He use to chew on anything and everything he could, including sunglasses and orchids.

All the best to you and Maddie. Hope you’re enjoying your retirement. Have an awesome summer. 🙂

      1. Hello Jung! Great to hear from you my friend. Doing great, lost 40 pounds and keeping busy on my retirement. That is a cool story about Max! And still laughing about Alligator!! Too funny. Maddie is doing well and made the all star team this summer for Softball! And her last day was today so now she goes into 5th grade in the fall. Very proud of her!! Again pleasure hearing from you and hope all is well on your end of the world. I am loving my vinyl albums of Mona and Lisa and my goodness just loving every minute of their music!!

      2. Hey Bill! Great to hear, I think I lost about 10 pounds since March. Congrats to Maddie with getting on the all star team! I just put on WHY? album to cruise along to the weekend. So niiiice after a long day. Janitor Joe, oh yeah! All the best!

  18. A big congrats to all the winners, and a special one to Michael for getting that special one Lisa likes, you lucky guy!!!!👍🙂

So sorry to hear about Trudy. I am sure she is having the time of her life exploring the world in wonder and awe from high up. I shipped my little EMO AI to repair his feet, but he is stuck in customs overseas and they won’t release him. Working with my postal service to get him back. They offered to send me a new one, but want my original back.

Thanks Mona and Lisa so much for doing these. The edge of the seat did I win thrill is always worth it. The video was so fun to watch. Will look forward to the next giveaway.

    1. Thanks for the congratulations, Jung!! And for all the congratulations from others……thank you!! I hardly ever win anything by drawings. The last time I won was in 1989. I won a free weekend to the Isle of Palms, SC near Charleston, SC. As my luck usually goes, the very next day Hurricane Hugo hit the island and was basically wiped out. So, the trip was to occur in September…….still warm in SC, finally occurred in February 1991 (not warm even in SC). It took from 1989 to early 1991 to rebuild the island due to the extensive damage from the hurricane. So, it is really a treat to finally win one and to get Lisa’s favorite. I don’t plan on using it to play anything and plan to set it aside with my music collectibles. Once again, thanks!!!!!

      1. Hi Michael, when they picked your name first out of the bag, I couldn’t think of a better more deserving person to win that one, given you are a guitarist and you did that cool greeting with your guitar in the fan video at the most recent Advent Calendar. Enjoy that most special MLT guitar pick.
