How/Where did you first hear about us and our music? – Poll

You’re all here because …

… at one point or another you have come across our music.

Then, presumably you enjoyed it and decided to support the journey, hear more, and so on.

That first step, the moment you initially heard about the “MonaLisa Twins”, always intrigues us in particular. We love hearing about the different ways people stumble across our music or videos because it adds personal stories to the anonymous “subscriber count” or any other metric that is nowadays used to measure “success” with.

Your personal story might be a little more complex than a poll answer can offer but please pick whatever is most accurate – and feel free to elaborate in the comments!

So, for today’s question ….

Whatever lead you here, we’re glad it did, and we are grateful for your support!

Stay groovy,

Mona & Lisa

  1. I’m not 100% certain where I stumbled across Mona Lisa Twins but it was either through Facebook or Instagram I saw a clip of the cavern club video also caught sight of a video for Politician, there was a post asking if I wanted free music so I sent away for the entire back catalogue. The rest is history

  2. Once I’d seen you once it was one of those special epiphany type moments – like when you stumble across some old town or village and immediately fall in love with it and even maybe think you’ve been there before (even though you probably haven’t) because maybe it reminds you of somewhere else, or somewhere you may have dreamt about.

I still can’t quite believe I’ve “discovered” you, but I’m very glad that I did

  3. I found you on YT — I was looking for a Beatles song — and there you were.

And if you hadn’t done Beatles covers, I probably wouldn’t have found you — at least not yet. Maybe never. Even though your originals are great. Sounds like doing covers is a good marketing plan.

  4. I believe it was sometime in 2919. I was searching for the Kinks. I came across your cover of Lola. WOW! I was hooked!

  5. I watch videos on Amy Slattery’s channel and came across the ones with her playing with you at the Cavern Club.

  6. None of the above – I was looking specifically for good Hollies covers on YouTube and came across Bus Stop in the search results

  7. Based on what I read below, I think my introduction was from the most unexpected source. I get a weekly e-mail from the creator of the comic strip “Bizarro” (Dan Piraro) and his writing partner (Wayno). Dan does the Sunday strip and Wayno does the weekday strips. Each week they both send out an e-mail with a blog link. Wayno always includes a music video link in his blog, and on December 26, 2020, your video with John Sebastian (Did you ever…) was the link. I was instantly hooked and haven’t looked back since! Love the music, you are both extremely talented!! Thanks for bringing joy to my day(s)!

In case you want to see the blog entry, here’s the link: http://waynocartoons.blogspot.com/2020/12/the-hilarity-of-images.html

    1. That’s a cool story. The Twins always seem to have the best people as fans. I wonder which famous authors or movie stars are MLT fans…

Since you mention Did You Ever…., one thing about that video has always bugged me. When John sings, “Then your heart gets stolen by some mousy little girl,” the camera pans over to show Mona standing next to him. Mona, mousy??? Perish the thought!

  8. I first saw and heard you two on my facebook page, saying how you were bringing back the sound of great harmonies, so i listen to a few of your cover songs. And you totally convinced me ! then i listen to a few of your original songs, you had me hooked! i not only order a few of your albums.. err CD’s lol but i also downloaded a on my phone. keep the songs a coming girls! and as an old song goes……Rock on!

  9. It was one of the Beatles covers back in 2017. I wasn’t listening to music much except for an occasional Beatles song. I’m not sure what song/s did it, but I bought a digital two-fer because I felt I should contribute something. Still, I was a slow convert until the “Walking in the Air” video (bought the CD) and finally the Joni Mitchell and Pink Floyd covers (bought the CD). That was less than two months ago and since then it’s MLT daily until late at night, an MLT Club membership, and an extra donation. Oh, and the John Sebastian/Arlen Roth CD. The MonaLisa Twins have literally brought music back into my life.

  10. A motorcycle forum I’m a member of has a thread called “What are you listening to” as do most internet forums. Someone last week posted a link to the video of Here Comes The Sun. As a massive Beatles fan I had to have a look, which led me to look at the rest of the music on the channel, and turns out we share a love of all the same music.

And the original music you do blew me away and made me join the MLT club.

  11. Easy…November 2021…I was a big Beatles fan back in high school in the early 80s, gradually accumulating the albums, memorizing the song lyrics, talking about the Beatles with my friends. For Christmas during my Senior year in high school, I received the complete Beatles songbook and spent years strumming and howling.

Fast forward to November 2021…the Get Back revolution was all around due to the released documentary. I was going through You Tube looking at clips and there was MLT’s “If I Fell”. Loved it! Within a couple a weeks, I ordered and received a MLT shirt with all the goodies (pick, sticker, postcard). Within a month, I joined the MLT Club.

Feel so lucky that I “fell” into “If I Fell”.

  12. Browsing You Tube one day and saw a cover of I’m Looking Through You.You did an excellent version so I checked out your other videos and became a fan.

  13. Really just kind of perusing YouTube when I ran across Bus Stop. I thought to myself: I like the song, pretty girl, let’s give it a shot. I was quite impressed. Subscribed to the MonaLisa Twins channel. Now I’m hooked.

  14. I was searching for “the Last Time.” It’s my favorite early Stones. Youtube kept going to the link with Mona’s picture. So I opened it, and was blown away by your version. I saw (could feel) the energy you both brought to the number. the excellent musicianship, and harmonies. And the fun you had performing the song. I listened to it several times in a row. I started searching more. And I came across the video of “Won’t You Listen Now.” It was so cute, and professionally done. And I couldn’t help notice how young you both were (and still are) and yet so professional. And became a believer in MLT. Another thing I also noticed about both of you that I find refreshing is your sense of humor – as beautiful as you are, you’re not afraid to be silly. And so I joined the club, and I am glad I did. Peace be. Stay gravy (Okie speak from back in the day. I’m from Oklahoma USA).

  15. It has been several years now, since I first heard of MLT. I was searching for videos for “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” to figure out how to play it properly, when I found the Twins’ version. I was amazed at the quality of playing of these little teen girls. I saw Lisa’s little ninja fingers do the famous solo that was giving me trouble -and blisters- with ease and apparent effortlessness.
It “derailed” my search into finding out more about these fab twins and I was just mesmerized at how they were doing all the Beatles songs I loved so much to absolute perfection.
It has been a joyous journey since.
    Thank you!

  16. I was just on U tube surfing Buskers in Dublin and came across Mona and Lisa. What a trip, Stars have been born to U tube. You both are very, very talented young ladies and your still a friend of mine should be playing on radio. I have to listen to it every day!
    Thank you Walt Music

  17. A TV friend of mine who had interviewed me for one of my movies sent me the video of the two of you singing “Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind” with John Sebastian and I simply fell in love. I wound up listening to everything you did on YouTube and joined your club when it became available. I think the two of you are amazing people, artists and musicians…

  18. The first song you performed that I saw on YouTube was “Mrs. Robinson”.To be honest, it didn’t seem very good to me, but for some reason I didn’t understand, I couldn’t stop watching it and watched it to the end. Then I clicked on your song “California Dreaming”.I really liked this song. Then I watched your video “You’re Going to Lose That Girl”.Three songs and that’s enough.I got caught and will not be able to forget your YouTube channel and now I am finally caught because I am in the MLT club.

  19. On a sub conscious game drive through youtube my attention was attained by a cascade of orange hair. clicks on clicks and i was drawn into what attracts everybody – crystal clear talent, warmth and courage leading to a collective will from all for you to continue to succeed in whatever form you would like that to take.

  20. So far, approx 25% of the answers were either ‘Drive My Car’ (7) or ‘God Only Knows’ (4). Hey, I’m all caught up at work. Nothing like getting paid to hang out with all of you fine folks here in the club. I guess Mona and Lisa have something to do with it too 😉

  21. 2017 or 2018, YouTube, and I think that it was Ain’t no Sunshine, which remains my favorite MLT YouTube video, it has everything. Thank you for all of the music.

  22. I believe it was late 2017 or early 2018 and I was cruising You Tube and a video of “If I Fell” was there as a recommendation for me because I was always trolling for Beatles tunes. I clicked on the recording and I was so amazed at the musical abilities of a couple of very pretty girls from Austria performing Beatles music. I listened several times to the “If I Feel” tune and then started to look for more music by these girls. I was so impressed by the sound quality of the recordings that I knew these girls really had something special.
I found more videos that covered different genres of music. I just loved the videos of all the Christmas music. The outfits, clever sets and winning personalities really made an impression on me. Beautiful girls with talent and character. I was hooked. Been a MLT fan ever since. Both of you (and the MLT family) are a testament to the quality of attributes that few performers present in todays entertainment.

  23. “Love Actually”, the movie, incorporates The Beach Boys rendition of their classic God Only Knows. I wanted to see if any other versions out there would even compare with theirs and so I went to youTube — none did — except some Austrian kids performing the song with a ukulele and a box (among other things). Anywho — that is how it happened.

  24. Last Christmas I looked on You Tube for good music videos. Suddenly I saw you girls with your interpretation of the Beatles song “Drive my car”. That made me curious and I searched for more videos of you. Meanwhile I am a great fan of your music!

  25. Heard one of your covers on the Beatles channel on Sirius. It’s been so long that I forget which song it was exactly — and since you do them ALL so well. Before this, I was pretty much a Beatles purist and didn’t want to hear any covers, but you two changed that. Great work! esp the Cavern residency

  26. One day I was in the mood for some George Harrison videos and I kept getting this “annoying” pop up commercial in between videos…I’d skip the ad and continue on until I finally said enough is enough so I watched the ad….it was the 2-minute promo for Beatles and more Vol 1….and I thought okay not bad…well I let it continue and it went right into Drive My Car and I said Damn and then it went to my favorite Beatle song Please Please Me and then it was Hot Damn and then The Rolling Stones Last Time and then it was Son of a Bitch these girls “Got It”….and I was hooked……..that makes you girls great fisherman…you kept throwing out the bait until you caught the dummy????So I subscribed and then you had the 100,000 subscriber 1-month free MLT Club opportunity and I bit on that…hooked again….And Glad Of It …..I love what you do !!

  27. Years ago I was listening to Beatles songs and stumbled across your cover of “Eight Days a Week.” At first I thought it was a video of an ordinary mom or dad filming their kids playing a Beatles song. But I quickly realized that this was not ordinary, it was something very special. So, I went to your website and was blown away. Still hooked on your special talent and your creativity. Can’t wait for your next new album!

  28. My wife and I play a game called “Real Deal or Banana Peel,” whereby we search for cover songs and judge the performers. We landed on MLT in a search for “Morning Has Broken” and unanimously declared you gals the Real Deal. After we watched Sweet Lorraine, it was all over for us. We got rid of all of our records, tapes, CDs and deleted all our MP3s. Our household is now on a strict MLT diet. Okay, I may be exaggerating this last part a little, but you surely raised the bar for what is meant by the Real Deal.

  29. I was allowing YouTube to play suggested videos automatically, something I rarely do. I had the TV on and was listening to something else on another device. All of a sudden along came “Here, There And Everywhere – MonaLisa Twins (The Beatles Cover)” on my Laptop. I muted all else and thought this is not the Beatles, but this is extremely good and something that I have not heard for years!!!!

It happened to be my favorite Beatles songs from the first Album I ever bought after getting a decent Stereo many years ago. I truly believe your version is much better than the Beatles. After that, I listened to more of your material and was truly amazed at your Covers and Originals. I have shared many of your songs with friends on Facebook who are past co-workers and were fellow students in High School.

Since then I have purchased your Christmas CDs for stocking stuffers, other CDs, joined the MLT Club, and more.

So that is how I found you — a buggered up YouTube algorithm [I had not been listening to any songs from that era?]. But then I am messing with YouTube all the time on the Laptop.

  30. Not sure, but it was in December 2019 and might have been “Waiting for the Waiter,” which might have been a Facebook ad. Whatever it was, it was a profound, mysteriously unexplainable musical experience beyond anything I had experienced since the Beatles themselves, and I was an instant fan.

  31. I can actually remember the order it all happened which is amazing for me. Early in 2020 I realised that I was paying for YouTube and not using it, so I projected my phone to my big TV and sound bar, cranked it up and searched for a song. I cannot remember what it was but the first hit was Mary Spender, and I listened to her covering several songs and some of her own, eventually that led me to “the other favourites” and Josh Turner. I joined Patreon and subscribed to both of them. That in turn led me to the AMAZING Reina del Cid, and another Patreon subscription! Within an hour or two, YouTube’s algorithms decided to take me to your page and your video for “June”. “That’s life” came next and I was hooked. Many weeks later and having watched every YouTube video I could find, I had to join the MLT club (well you aren’t on Patreon lol – but as a musician I appreciate the security and flexibility having a steady reliable income gives & which is why I never had the courage to go pro myself), and ordering all your cd’s and merchandise. I’ve been a loyal fan since and spread the word whenever I can.
I know that anyone can post videos to YouTube and the similar sites these days, but to continually produce high quality music (& videos) while trying to appeal to the widest possible audience, and at the same time avoid the pitfalls of releasing say, a cover version of a song people don’t like or accept (- & which negatively affects your popularity), is a truly massive commitment to make. Between the four of you, you are achieving that every time, consistently producing excellent quality material. I cannot wait to see what comes next, and hopefully when I will get to see you live (I’ve already got my tickets for Reina del Cid & “The Other Favourites” in Leeds????).

  32. A friends directed me to a YouTube video of one of his favorite “cover bands” and I watched it. Not bad. 😉 Later that day, I got a suggested video done by the Mona Lisa Twins (“Drive My Car”) and I totally enjoyed it – as I’ve mentioned before, the energy you inject into “old” songs is one of your best features! I was hooked, and continued to search for your work. I mention my friend’s recommendation because it led me to MLT.

  33. I love the Beatles and I was listening to them on YouTube.

I happened to find a video of you guys covering my number one favorite song, “Here There And Everywere”, and I listened to it.

And when I heard the song, I was very impressed and fascinated by you guys beauty, your voice and you guys performance.

Then I was listening to you guys other cover songs and I came across your original songs.

The original album “Orange” was fantastic.
Especially “That’s Life” became my favourite song. Now I listen to you guys songs almost every day.

Thank you Mona and Lisa for your wonderful singing and playing.
We will continue to support you ‼︎ \(*゚▽゚*)/♡

  34. Oddly enough I passed over your song 5 times before I thought I’d give God Only Knows by the MonaLisa Twins a shot. I love the Beach Boys and have always enjoyed the song. I thought why not!
I was totally blown away how much it sounded like the original. As I was watching, I about fell over when I saw “the blonde” playing the drums!!! I quickly learned who was Mona and Who was Lisa.
My God!, this sounds so good. I need to find out more. For the next few hours I was playing all I could find by the MonaLisa Twins.
Thanks Ladies for your amazing sound and Heaven sent angelic voices.
    Honestly the best music anywhere.
    All the best always.

  35. I was on my lunch break back in 2013 and I was looking for a video of John Mayer and Keith Urban playing the Beatles song Don’t Let Me Down from the Crossroads Guitar Festival and I came across your video of the Beatles Drive My Car, and I got hooked to you guys and I’ve been a loyal fan of yours since then. Love guys! ❤️❤️❤️

  36. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th time I saw MLT was with Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, so by that time I was hooked. I then went to see them at the penultimate Cavern gig, supporting Cockney Rebel at St. George’s Hall Liverpool, and the last time was supporting CR at The Avenue, Chesterfield. I miss seeing them live.

  37. I was watching Beach Boys videos of the Pet Sounds studio sessions and got to God Only Knows and your video of it was in the recommended list of YouTube videos and the rest is history. Must have been 7-8 years ago now. Went to your YouTube channel and listened to more of your covers and finally picked some originals and that was where I spent the rest of my time on your channel. Listening to your original songs that were quite brilliant to me then and still are to this day. Keep ’em coming ladies.

  38. Just surfing YouTube to listen to some good (older) music last year. Your cover of Drive My Car was a choice, so I thought what the heck. When I read the info – from 2012, 2 young ladies fronting a 4 piece band in a “western/steak place” in Vienna, covering a famous Beatles tune live (?), I was thinking, this isn’t going to end well. Listened to it anyway. 2:47 later, I was like, this is the best live cover of this Beatles song I’ve ever heard! Shocked by the excellent sound quality in this venue. No gimmicks, no satire, just straight-ahead top-notch professional singing and musicianship. Went on to your covers of Day Tripper, The Last Time, etc. and was even more amazed/impressed. Since this was 2020, I was a bit late to the game appreciating The MonaLisa Twins, but made up for it by viewing every one (I think) of your videos, getting your entire catalog (love your original work!), and joining the MLT Club. Can’t say how thankful I am to you and your family for recording so much of your art and lives for us to enjoy.

  39. July 2018. You Tube. ‘You’re Gonna Lose That Girl’ at the Cavern Club. Wow. Just wow. What a revelation! Joined the Club the following month and I’ve been spreading the gospel ever since.

  40. A few years ago I did a YouTube search for Paul McCartney. I started to watch a few of them when I decided to search for a particular song. I don’t remember what song it was but your video was maybe 3 or 4 down the list. I gave it a listen and was very impressed. I went to your YouTube channel and watched/listened to some of your other videos. I have been hooked on your music ever since.

  41. Again for me ? I was on u tube and seen The Mona Lisa Twins doing Revolution and then I saw the Last Time and that did it for me. I just wish I could of known earlier than 2017. But the best thing that ever happend to me and never looked back and enjoying the journey

  42. It was early in 2017. My son-in-law Zach, who is a musician, had just secured a three month gig performing live at a resort in Korea. He was in the process of putting together a band and coming up with a set list of songs. One of the songs I recommended to him was the original of “Drive My Car” because I thought it would be a lot of fun to perform on stage. Well, as I was searching for it on You Tube to show him, up popped this compelling picture of these gorgeous young girls playing guitars live on stage. I couldn’t resist clicking on it to check it out. Wow, the rest is history as they say. I can’t begin to explain how much fun and enjoyment that chance occurrence as provided to me since then.

  43. Directly it was word of mouth from a friend that has stumbled across you on youtube. He played some of your music on his fishing boat for me many miles out in the atlantic ocean. When I got back home, I found you on youtube and the odyssey began for me in earnest. I’ll always be a fan yours.

  44. I discovered you girls in JUNE of 2018 while searching for Beatles videos on Youtube. The first video I saw was either “Please, Please me” or “Drive my car” and I was hooked on you 2 INSTANTLY! I was blown away by how talented you were. I proceeded to search and watch all the rest of your videos and found your web site. I only wish I found out about you a lot sooner. How I never saw you before is beyond me.

  45. The first time I saw one of your videos, was on Facebook.Loved what I saw, then went to YouTube to check out more videos.Took about all of 5 minute, and I was Hooked!!
One of the things I love doing is sharing your music with friends and family(have purchased CD’s and other MLT items as gifts).Love the selection of music you cover, and all of your original material as well. You are both truly Angels that have helped me through some rough times in the past year(Thank You Mona,Thank You Lisa).Love the interaction with fans, look forward to Tuesdays and Fridays,to see what you’re both up to.
Your Beauty and Talent know no bounds,Thank You for sharing so much of your lives with all of us.Hope to get the chance to see you perform live some day.
As always, sending Love and Hugs to everyone at Team MLT.

  46. On youtube did a search on Scott McKenzie’s San Francisco, and your San Francisco came up as a recommendation. Thank God I clicked on it! Never heard anything so beautiful, then I found the other two videos, California Dreaming and Hotel California, and I had to learn more about you both. Followed you back to your youtube channel, and discovered a treasure trove of songs I hadn’t heard in decades all so enhanced by your beautiful singing, that never sounded so good, and such a diverse repertoire too. It was March 1st 2017 because I remember your latest video, A World Without Love was just released that day. I watched a few of your interview videos from Austria and the most recent one from Liverpool 2016 and learned so much more about you both. You are the real deal, singer song writers, playing all the instruments yourself, doing everything yourselves!!! And I never looked back, never experienced music could be so beautiful and moving as when I discovered your world!

  47. I was surfing youtube a little more than 2 years ago (I think, it seems like forever ago)
    and it recommended these girls.
Life was not being so much good to me at the time, and I needed distractions,
I hesitated for a couple of days– what could these “kids” know about the Beatles??
Well after a couple of days I clicked on one and was blown away!
I wish I could remember what that first song was, but I probably went through everything there several times on the first day,
I doubt I have gone a day without listening to them since then, and they always seem to make the day better.
I’m so glad I found them, and I think of them as friends.
    Thanks My friends!

  48. I’m an unusual case. Well, that’s what my family says anyway!

I ticked radio because it was probably the closest option. I actually first saw and heard you guys on a community TV show in Australia called the Tribute Show. It’s a half hour music show broadcasting videos of cover songs. They played your clip of Maxwell’s Silver Hammer. I was so impressed I checked you out on YouTube and it’s been a fun ride since.
The show is still on but it’s all repeats these days.
From memory the bloke who hosts the show plays bass in a Judas Priest cover band!

  49. The first time I heard about Mona and Lisa was looking for the video of golden slumbers on Youtube, the program suggested “you can’t do that” with MonaLisa Twins, I loved the interpretation and I kept looking for their cover videos of beatles and I found that’s life (I repeated the video more than 15 times in a row) they followed their original songs “all great”.

I started researching them by finding the club, so after thinking about it for a few days (to be honest, being part of a club of any kind never caught my attention) I decided to join in September of last year and it was really great. The day Mona welcomed me, I received the notification on my mobile and I felt very excited and constantly yelled “Mona wrote to me, Mona wrote to me” while driving from Mexicali to Tijuana (who heard me will have thought I was crazy).

Although my participation is not very constant or the best, I really enjoy being here.

    Greetings

  50. I first heard you sing when I was looking for “When I’m 64” for a friends 64th birthday. I searched the web for it and your cover was my favorite (including the original). I’ve been a big fan ever since.

  51. Wish You Were Here came up as a suggested video on YouTube. I am a bit of a Pink Floyd fan, so I get hit with a lot of “Pink Floyd” video suggestions. I have seen a lot of so-so PF covers, so sometimes I don’t click them. This suggested video peaked my curiosity. The thumbnail showed a girl in a kool hat. Is that the Shine On box set the on the shelf? Hmm, there might be something good going on here. Clickety-click…capos?…holy crap, play it again! This is the stuff. The covers are fantastic, but MLT originals are out of this world. It feels like I found a couple albums from back in the day by some group no one ever told me about. And there is more in the works. So exciting.

I love the fact that I was able to find a lot of information about the band on line. There was so much on YouTube already, I just started watching a lot of it in chronological order and was able to follow the band’s progression. I was immediately impressed by their musicianship, and then when I found their interviews and behind the scenes videos, I was even more impressed by their mission, their drive, and their charm.

After first checking out this website, it only took me 27 seconds to join the Club. This place is like Disney World, as you can’t really take it all in in just one day. I am still finding new stuff. Have you seen the skydiving video? It is incredible. My wife has become a fan also, so MLT has become a big part of our living soundtrack. We love interacting with Lisa and Mona, and the other club members. MLT fans are the best!

    It’s almost Friday!

  52. I like to tell this story .. I am a Beatlemaniac, I also love many other classic rock artists, I like good music., It was in August 2016, I came back from work listening to the album Let Be on the car radio, after dinner, I don’t know why, I decided to search YouTube for one of my favorite songs. Two of Us.. In this research I found a cover where there a pic with two child shared a guitar, when I started listening, I thought it would be a video about scenes from some family., But the voices hooked me and I realized that the video showed the trajectory of those two child so I thought, I have to see this .. I watched the video about five times in a row., those children captivated me .. then I went to the MLT page. and I stayed there for hours .. Drive My Car, While my guitar, Blackbird, June, San Francisco, Love is Around Me, Wide Wide Land …. these songs were exactly the beginning of that night’s “set list”. since that very lucky day for me I’m a big fan of Mona and Lisa., there is not a day that I don’t hear Mona and Lisa, their voices make me feel good, give me joy and peace., I admire their talent , dedication and joy and also Papa Rudi and Michaela ,. they are all fantastic ..

  53. My personal MLT journey began last Septemberish, as I browsed YouTube for other people’s takes on one of my favorite Beatles tunes, “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer”. First was some animated version, then some other that I barely remember, and didn’t watch much of before trying again. Then YouTube showed me a thumbnail that featured some random, gorgeous bleach-blonde dressed as what looked like a ’20s flapper girl. I clicked on this one without hesitation! Very shortly into the vid I realized that though stunning, the performers’ physical beauty wasn’t their only attribute by a long shot. These girls, whoever they were, could SING! I quickly realized there were multiple versions of each in frame, playing guitars like pros and even adding beat-boxy backing vocals! And I was floored by the incredible production quality of the video! I had to see more, so next I tried their “Bus Stop” vid. BLOWN AWAY! Loved all I saw, but when Mona and Lisa performed that tiny bit of the Saiyan fusion dance, I knew destiny was at work! You see, Dragonball was something my nephew and I watched together while I was serving as his father figure. I continued to watch more and more vids, and decided to buy their CD bundle, since I knew I’d eventually want them all anyway. Seeing I could get them signed for a paltry $13US, I joined the club. Figured I could cancel after getting signed copies, at least. HAH! Couldn’t possibly cancel after seeing the awesome way the Wagners treat their fans, and also how all the amazing club members interact! MLT Club member and fan(friend) for life!

  54. It all began eons ago, around 14 yrs thereabouts, as I’m a Mamas and Papas fan/Cass Elliot fan, I was curious to see if there was any decent ” California Dreamin”covers that could equal or come remotely close to the M & P’s version… well, these 2 young ladies caught me off guard from get go with their rendition, right then and there, I decided to become a lifelongfan, checked out their other stuff they had out at the time, equally impressed, but their “California Dreamin” rendition in my mind/opinion Equals to that of the M& P’s take and that’s saying much as not too many can pull off an M&P song to that calibre like MLT can, and I stand by that. I also recall shortly thereafterwards, sending them an email as I looked for mature info on these gals, and found their website they had out at the time, contacted them to let them know about how impressed I was, the rest they say, is history.. Here I am, still just as equally impressed and supportive of MLT now as I was from that pleasant unexpected stumble of discovery, Thankyou MLT because you breathed life into what real music is once more.????☮????

    1. Whoops… should of said “** more**, not” mature,” stupid autocorrect/my eyesight typing skills, but you are mature and know what you want, etc, so all is good … what I was aiming to say was ” More Info” in that part of my comment.????????

  55. I was on Amazon looking for a specific Beatles song when I came across someone called the MonaLisa Twins, I listened to a bit of Please, Please Me. I liked it so I bought it. I kept on looking around and there was more of their music so I kept listening and kept buying.

As a back in the day singer/ songwriter & musician, I knew I was hearing something quiet special. For my personal taste I prefer the Studio cuts, where I can hear the music as the Artist intended it to sound. Every song I heard was magical.

So I left Amazon and began to research the MonaLisa Twins and discovered they were “You Tube” sensations. What’s That? I had only been to you tube when I needed to know how to repair something. What a surprise awaited me!

Anyway, after researching the MonaLisa Twins I was hooked, The story from the beginning, the whole Family Story, the Twins on their musical Journey. It’s been an incredible adventure and I can’t wait to follow and see where the journey leads us.

I Love you Both, you have made an outdated music man feel the music again, playing, writing, recording.
    Thank you for this gift!

  56. I was browsing you tube for the Beatles and came across your version of while my guitar gently weeps of caurse I was blown away.

  57. I love The Beach Boys ‘God Only Knows’. Approx 2016, I stumbled across the MLT rendition on YouTube. I was blown away!!!

I have always listened to your music. But, during COVID, I didn’t get the virus. Instead, I caught the MLT mania bug. I joined the club and now…..I’m one of your biggest fans!!!
