One More Time – Live at the Cavern Club

I better stop …

… but not quite yet! This is the second to last song we performed at our final Cavern Club concert.

One more to go and you will see us take our final bow on that stage after having played on it 100 times.

“One More Time” is a song off our debut album “When We’re Together” and one that we actually wrote with the “Cavern Club Sound” of the Beatles and other 60s bands around that time in mind. Little did we know that we’d later get to perform in that place so many times! 😉

We’ll see you one more time with our final Cavern Club video in a few weeks …

Stay groovy,

Mona & Lisa

  1. I’ve got to compliment you on these original songs that fit perfectly into the set. Sounds just like early 60s Beatles tunes. Whoever put a camera on the guitar headstock is a genius. What a cool shot.

    1. The ladies are asked about that (originals in the live set) in one of the radio interviews, and Lisa responds something like yeah maybe fans think it’s a deep album cut by a 60s band! “This Boy is Mine”, “One More Time”, “When We’re Together” are definitely highlights from “Live at the Cavern Club”. “I Wanna Kiss You” and “Close to You” a couple others that beautifully capture that Merseybeat Sound. So groovy!

      1. It’s happened a few times that a song starts and I wonder what Beatles album it’s from and realize it’s an original.

  2. Don’t know if there is a vote yet for favorite song of the second set, but One More Time is my selection. Lisa was all smiles throughout the song, it was great seeing the song live, and how about Mona and Lisa posing for a fan early on the song…priceless!

  3. Your harmonies are unique and magnetic, I am so hooked! And the way you both leaned into each other for that fan’s shot (as if on cue) was so cute! Another winning moment!

  4. You’ve got absolutely mAde my weekend with this one. I absolutely love it you’re harmonys are spot on your performance of it were superb well done

  5. Great original tune. It really comes alive in the original video too. I’ve watched that video so many times. I really enjoyed “behind the scenes”, making of the One More Time video. It looked like so much fun.

  6. I love the “When We’re Together” album and “One More Time” is one of my favorite songs on the album. It is such a fun song and so well constructed musically. The lyrics are clever and relatable. And, take all of that mixed in with your talent, to a live audience at the Cavern Club and you have an amazing, exciting experience! Wish I could have been there, but at least I got to see a video of the performance. Fantastic!! I think I will always want to watch it “One More Time!”

  7. This is one of my favorite all time songs period! This song is truly classic Rock N Roll. Simply brilliantly done and at age 15, I am in awe of your incredible song writing and performing skills! As always, “Thanks for the Memories.”

  8. Neil Young said it best…
“Live music is better. Bumper stickers should be issued”.
    Very nice job ladies.

  9. I always loved this song. The guitar break in the middle slaps! If I ever met the twins I wouldn’t know what to say, I wouldn’t have a clue! I’d probably stumble and act so shy! I sure hope live music returns so we can see more of the groovy talented girls!

  10. I’ll say it again – best live band ever! I’m amazed that you were able to write and perform such a great rocker at only fifteen. And in the middle of the song pose – adorably, I must add – for a fan picture, and not miss a beat. Mona and Lisa, just think everything about you person-wise and music-wise is fantastic. Wishing you and your family wonderful Thanksgiving and every happiness and blessing. I’m very thankful for my favorite young ladies…

  11. Oooooooooooooooh what a performance it ‘s great. In Germany we say :” die geh’n ab wie

Schmidt’s Katze”. It’s very beatleslike and I love it so much and the TWINS –

unbelievable-. There is nothing more to say.

    We all shine on

    Greatings from Detlef

  12. I’m blown away that this is the first song you wrote. The hook is incredible. You both do such great live performances and I love the pose for the picture. If you asked me today if I could have any wish, it would be to see you in concert

  13. I remember when I first saw the video and heard this song on the WWT album,
I thought it was a cover of a Beatles Song I had never heard or hadn’t heard in a long time. Then I realized it was an original, and had to listen to it One More Time. I think it’s a very catchy song with some awesome guitar licks. Watching Lisa jam through the GoPro view is always fun. It’s getting towards the end of the set and the band is still full of energy. You chicks rock.

Again we are so lucky you recorded this. These videos look and sound fantastic. It’s like we have the best seats in the house.

The photo-op was adorable. Perfect timing on everyone’s part.

    TGIF!

  14. I love this song and the WWT album..We’re nearing the end of a magical night, there’s only one song left for the final bow, and I confess I’m already feeling sad…it was a masterful performance., despite not having been there , this gig will always stay in my heart.,thank you dear Mona and Lisa..Stay groovy.

  15. I love this song. How many times I used to get tongue tied trying to talk to girl I was interested in. If not interested, no problem. I also dig the photo pose without missing a beat. You two are fabulous. Stay groovy. Luv dubya. Peace be.

  16. Can’t watch this without smiling or moving to the beat! Neither can the entire audience. Such a great song, if MLT was contemporary with The Beatles, they would likely have covered this song in one of their early albums. Fab!

  17. Man I really LOVE that first album! It’s my favorite so far. Love those guitar tones! You girls really need to get back out there and play live again. Even if I never get the chance to see you.

  18. Awesome performance, and “One More Time” fits right in there with the sounds of the Beatles, Who, Kinks, Stones et all! Love the guitar work, your energy, and stage finesse! Powerful on point drumming too. No fancy showmanship or theatrics, just superb singing and musicianship says it all, and delivers the rock and roll excitement that no one can do better than you. Your Cavern Club live performances are the finest.

  19. Oh yea One More Time!! Yes such a great tune and great rhythm and guitar riff and lead. This is what it is all about , great song writing, words, and performance all wrapped up on one song. Such a great song to lead into Revolution. I listened to the live album last night going home from work and I think I put a hole in my floor board of my car with my foot tapping along. I am telling you folks these ladies have it all. They can rock, they can mellow and not too many groups can do that, they do one thing and one thing only but Mona and Lisa they explore all area’s of good music and give it new life. OMG Can not wait to see Revolution. I was listening to the Beatle channel and they had some group play Revolution and it made me sick to be honest, Mona and Lisa cover the Beatles better than anyone.
Thanks for making my Friday Mona and Lisa

Rock n Roll Onwards To The Finale …????????????

  21. Hello Ladies!
One of my favorite Originals! You can’t keep still with this song. You even posed for a Photo Op during the song! One More Time is infectious! We want to see you do it MORE than One More Time!
The Gretsch and Ricky licks absolutely make this song, along with Lisa’s dead on solo!
Caleb was just a tad late on “One More Time”
    Ever present Mona chimed in.
Thanks Ladies for a great Video and for writing such a Dynamic song
    Rick ????????‍♀️❤????‍????

  22. You wrote and made a video of this song way before you played at the Cavern and I must say it reminds me of the earlier Beatles songs. I have seen the video a lot of times but playing it in the Cavern, well it just belongs there!!!! Can’t wait for the final bow, though I must say I hate to see some things end. In all reality this is just the beginning for you two as with my Crystal Ball I see great things happening in the near future for you both!!! Stay Groovy!!!!!

  23. Also cool was the momentary pose for the live pic right in the middle of performing! You two (four) are soooo gracious to your fans (friends)! ????‍????????????????️????‍????

  24. It’s so cool to have almost the entire Cavern Club set now! I understand why it’s impractical for you to produce a DVD of the whole set from an earlier post, but someday soon we’ll be able to see them all on YouTube, I’d wager! This song produced one of your most enjoyable videos, besides being a swingin’, GROOVY, original track! Thanks so much for yet another rockin’ Friday post!
