“The Met” in Manchester, Live Show – Photos
On the 4th of July 2014 we played a gig at the Met, a beautiful theatre in Bury, Greater Manchester.
On the same bill as us were Mike Sweeney & Paddy O’Hare with “The Collective”. You have probably heard us talk about BBC Radio Manchester DJ Mike Sweeney countless times: He’s a good friend of ours who has been supporting us in various ways ever since we first met him shortly after setting foot in England.
The idea of playing a show together seemed exciting and a great fit, so that’s how the night at the Met came to be. During our set Mike joined us for a version of Money (That’s What I Want) which we uploaded to YouTube soon after. But here you can see the photos taken that night, taken mainly by Jamie McRowland (Manic Manc Photography).
Great photos! Really shows the tremendous stage energy and excitement going on. Just makes me want to see you perform in person even more. Oh what fun.
Some really awesome stage performance shots here. These series of black and white photos especially really have a great effect showing off all the stage energy and both of your expressions in great detail. I like photo #12 with both of you singing hard and playing the Gretsch Duojet and Rickenbacker 350 guitars in full glory! Thanks for showing these.
Great photos and you definitely enjoyed performing that gig… Mike had a blast too in joining in with you.
I always love seeing the live gig photos because it connects me as if I was truly there, not just only in spirit… The photos captured the essences of that gig quite nicely and once more., Enjoyed seeing and reading and Thankyou for sharing!!
Wow 5 years goes fast doesn’t it?! Great photos by Jamie! Thanks for posting them!
