  1. I don’t know when the 22 hours began, but I assume I’m too late. but that’s okay since I already have the Christmas CD (unless there is a new one).
Anyway, I’m a retired software engineer and current adjunct math instructor at a local community college. I like to tell the story that my first grade teacher told my father that I would never amount to much. Now I’m a teacher.

  7. Hi Mona & Lisa, Rudolph & Michaela, and all my fellow members. This is my third Advent calendar and I’m very much looking forward to it. This holiday season I have some life challenges that need to be dealt with, so I hope to participate as much as possible. The Club is always a source of positive energy and mood enhancement, thanks to the Wagners, and all of you! My best to you all and see you around the calendar!

  8. Hi, I’m Jerry Chamness from a small town in South Carolina, USA. I have been following Lisa and Mona for several years. I love their music and them. I was fortunate enough to meet them in 2015. My impression of them was confirmed. They are as nice, sweet and genuine as I thought prior to meeting them. I hope to continue seeing everyone at this forum and wish you all a Very Merry Christmas!

    1. Hi, Jerry! I, and anyone else who hasn’t met them(yet) envy you greatly! Also very happy for you as I’m sure you can derive a bit of happy just calling up the memory of the meeting! I’ve no doubt meeting you and other fans(friends) is a treat for them, too.

  9. Hi, there! Happy December, and greetings from Arlington, Virginia USA, near Washington DC — but nicer! Thank you for starting up the new Advent Calendar. I’m especially looking forward to the live-stream a few days before Christmas — it was pretty cool last year!

  10. You two should have your own sit-com. You are so funny. Greetings MLTrs from the great state of Oklahoma USA. My first Christmas with MLT. I think is will be a “joy ride.”

  11. Well here we go again wondering what you girls have dreamed up for us this year….ready to meet the challenge…hopefully everyone will have a joyous holiday season and a safe and healthy season.

  12. Hello everyone, I wish you a wonderful pre-Christmas season!

  14. Hello and Merry Christmas to all my MLT brothers & sisters. It’s officially the month where we should try & forget all the negatives in today’s world & just be thankful for the good things we have experienced this year. I hope everyone stays safe and healthy. Merry Christmas from Las Vegas

  15. Greetings from Denmark – with the hope – that every one in the MLT Club, will have a Merry Christmas.

Dear Mona and Lisa. Thank you so much for your music and your loveable way of behaving. Finding you on YouTube was like finding a Goldmine full of great music.

Your voices harmonize wonderfully well, and you master the musical instruments to perfection. Your videos are cozy entertainment, really good and funny.

Lucky us who find you. You have the whole package solution – and on top of that, also the MLT Club, so thank you for all the time, that you put into this.

  16. One of the disadvantages of being 8 hours behind GMT is that I (and Jung and Jacki) am usually the last one to post, and by then everything has already been said. So many people have very succinctly expressed why we love the Wagner clan so much! So I guess I’ll just say:

    Hi. 😀

I’m in Portland, OR and do IT by trade (“Have you tried turning it off and on again?” LOL). But when I’m not grinding for $$ I enjoy photography, reading, poetry, and of course music. And about 100 other things, but those are all I can usually eke out time for.

These advent calendars are so much fun because we not only get to see M&L every day, all the lurkers (which often includes me) come out of the woodwork (Norwegian? lol) and we all get to be together for a few weeks. I can’t express how grateful I am to M&L for sharing themselves and their already overtaxed time with us.

  17. Hi, and Happy Holidays, weve started it here with a snowstorm with close to hurricane winds. I tried to take the dog for a walk, but hed had enough after 200 meters, turned around and dragged me home again

  18. Hi Mona,Hi Lisa!
Hello to all MLT Club members!! Wishing you all a Joyous,Fun Filled Holiday Season!

And Lisa….Regarding your comment from the video, I don’t think any of us will ever get tired of seeing you and Mona.

  19. Big smiles all around! I always have a big smile when I watch these videos!

  26. Seasons Greetings from Keith in Colorful Colorado, USA.

The entire Christmas album is incredibly entertaining and I stand by my feeling is that it is the “Best Christmas Album in Decades.” Anytime an album can transport us to a wonderful place in time and bring back not one but several “Memories For Keeps” as well as a time when “It Felt Like the World Was So Right” from “All I Want Christmas to Be” is the essence of superb songwriting, brilliant performance and excellent arrangements.

Many thanks again for this simply wonderful Christmas Album. In short, “Thanks for the Memories.”

With Love, Blessings and hugs all around for such a treasure!

  27. Hello everyone!

I am Kirstie originally from København, Denmark but I now live in the States. I work for Legends in Concert and Graceland.

    Merry Christmas!

  28. Hi all, I’m Rich from Syracuse, New York, USA. Former physicist, not-very-skilled dabbler in music including ukulele, and synthesizer builder. Happy December!

  29. Hi everyone! I’m Jim from Saginaw, Michigan in the USA. I have only been in the club for about a year, having joined during last years advent calendar. What a joy it has been in the last year following the girls on their journey! Merry Christmas to the Wagner family & everyone in the club!

  30. Hi, I’m Dennis from southern New Mexico, USA. My wife Judy and I are enjoying retirement in spite of the ongoing virus restrictions. We are having some especially beautiful fall weather here this year.

I first encountered the Twins music in 2015 when I did a web search to find a copy of “When I’m Sixty Four” to play for the 64th birthday of a good friend of ours. I’ve been a big fan ever since.

    Happy holidays to everyone!

  31. Hi, I am Joseph from Ames, Iowa USA. I really enjoy your recreations of music from The Monkees and others. I also like your Orange album.

  32. Hi, I’m David from North Carolina (USA). I discovered MLT on YouTube in March of 2019, and joined the club soon after. I’m really not much of a joiner — this club is pretty much my only on-line presence — but the music filled me with such joy that I desperately needed to share the experience with others before I exploded. And I think we’ve all come to agree that MLT club members are collectively the coolest people on the planet after the Wagner family themselves.

  33. A big Hi to all the new members here and a hug to all the seasoned members, and to Mona and Lisa, Michaela and Rudolf! ???? It is so awesome to embark on another Advent Calendar, the absolute best Christmas tradition I’ve ever had the pleasure to take part in bar none! To the new people here I’d just like to say hang in with us all throughout the year, MLT with their music, and tender loving care for their fans is guaranteed to enrich your life in so many wonderful ways like it has with me and the many other wonderful fellow members here!

Mona and Lisa, we love you both very much, and I’ve never been so happy to be a part of something so wonderful as your music journey, and MLT Club! ???? ????

Nice dramatic exit Lisa! ???? Mona and Lisa, you both are Rock Stars like none other! ???? ❤ ????

Oh by the way, I am from Vancouver Canada, a very, very rainy Vancouver these days! Jacki is the other awesome Canucker here! ????

  34. Hi all! I’m Michael from New Berlin Wisconsin (a suburb of Milwaukee) and I absolutely adore the twins! Their talent, their personalities, their respect for the artists from the past, and yes, their lovely faces! I’m so glad I joined the MLT club!

  35. HI! I’m Jeff from Freeport, Illinois and joined just over a year ago, during the Black Friday promo. I was new to MLT music, but already knew I wanted all the CDs they had available! Seemed like a no-brainer to join the club for a month to get them signed, right? Figured I could always cancel after that first month, anyway. WOW! Didn’t take long to see I’d be a member for life, God willing, after witnessing how graciously the twins and their folks treat us here! Their love and respect for their fellow humans, and all of nature, too, are a wonderful example of how we all should strive to be! Merry Christmas and happy Advent everyone!

  36. Hi although I usually say hello.

I live in Whetstone, North London and have been an MLT member since October 2020. I follow my mother in musical tastes in that I can like virtually any type of music, although I have to admit that I find a lot of the modern output to be boring, monotonous and without melody. This is why I find MLT so refreshing.

My first encounter with them was when I was preparing a music round for a quiz via Zoom that a group of my friends did each Monday evening during lockdown. I was looking for a recording of ‘Friday on My Mind’ (for a day’s of the week round) and spotted MLT’s version. What caught my eye was a gorgeous young woman playing a Rickenbacker 325 (what’s not to like!) so I clicked on the link in YouTube and found that there were 2 of them. After listening to the track for about 20 seconds (it may have been less) it was ‘WOW’ I need to find more of this and here we now are!

When you listen to their interviews etc etc you realise that they are gorgeous in so many ways; not just looks but personality, spirit, talent, modesty, humility, the list is almost endless. This is what makes them (plus Rudi and Michaela) so loveable and I suspect that if they read this it will make them feel embarrassed but hey ho the truth often does.

I plan to have a cup of tea each time that I partake in each of this year’s tasks. However, I’m not sure that my aging frame will permit a forward (or sideways) roll, or the like, but I may become braver towards Christmas and give it a go!

  37. HI!! My name is Gary from Albion New York (between Rochester and Buffalo). I have been a Club member since March 2020 . Today begins the first day of retirement so a whole new phase is starting for me! That means more time to listen to my favorite rockers/songwriters/musicians……The MonaLisa Twins! For those who are new here, Welcome and enjoy the ride! I know you will because this is an awesome place to be. And as always, Stay Groovy!

  38. I’m Diana Geertsen from Salt Lake City, Utah. I’ve been in the medical field for the last 30 years (mostly as a nurse). I thought I would be clever and say hello in German. So I went to Google Translate and found out that the German word for hello is hello. MLT is my all-time favorite duo. I’m looking forward to this whole month. I joined about 10 months ago.

  39. Hello, I am enjoying my first year as a MLT Club Member! I joined early 2021. I live in Pennsylvania in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. I recently retired.
I greatly enjoy the hard work and talents of the Twins. I love them both to pieces and if I was 35 years younger and 3000 miles closer to them I would steal the heart of one of them and marry her????. You have to guess which one????. I hope you all have a great Christmas!

  40. Hi and Merry Christmas to all! I’m a huge fan of my favorites Mona and Lisa and I’m from just south if Boston Massachusetts. Isn’t this a fabulous way to start each day?
