  1. Absolutely loved the livestream. The girls are just so infectious and just make me smile all the time. The interaction with the fans is such a groovy thing and it was great to live chat with other members of the MLT Club while the show was on. I just wanted to wish every last one of you as well as the girls, Rudi and Michaela a magical Christmas. May you all be healthy and hearty with family and friends. Stay safe everyone ????

  2. Mona & Lisa, you have made the season bright with this year’s Advent calendar, yet again. Your love for life and for all things groovy cannot be contained. It is a true force of nature. A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my fellow Club members and may the coming new year bring joy and peace to everyone.

  3. I am of the opinion that we as MLT Club Members are blessed in so many wonderful ways to be able to share the journey and the story of these incredibly talented and hard working ladies. I have always been impressed by how “down to earth” and humble the MLT remain and they certainly seem wise beyond their years.

This livestream is a real tribute to the entire MLT Team with hugs all around and well deserved. When I see and participate in such an event as this livestream, I am pleased to have signed up for a modest monthly donation as a monthly renewal. This is an easy way to support Mona and Lisa that you may not be aware of for MLT Club Members to consider a modest monthly donation renewal if you have the ability to do so. To me, the MLT are so deserving and so very appreciative of the all of the kind gestures, gifts, donations and support.

Blessed and Happy and Healthy Holidays to one and all.

  4. It was a great livestream! His sense of humor is infectious.
Now we will have to wait until next year.
Thank you very much for these pleasant and fun moments.

  5. I was only able to watch through just after the ‘Gypsy Song’. Santa decided to give me a new right hip for Christmas (actually a week ago) and I am still on the mend and tire easily due to physical therapy. So, to all you old drummers out there when you play the ‘kick’ pretty hard it might lead to hip problems down the road. Actually the doctor says with my new hip, I’ll be playing the bass drum better than with the original equipment…….but it will take a couple of weeks.

I really enjoyed the show last night and the idea that MLT has the advent tradition. I also enjoyed the new song ‘Songbird’ released over the last week. The song shows sophistication in song writing and subject matter and sounds good, too. From the old American Bandstand show I would give it a 90!!!! j/k…..probably higher.

So, that’s all for now. I wish y’all a very Merry Christmas and the happiest of New Years. We have all had two pretty strange consecutive years and let’s hope we turn a corner in 2022!! Mike.

    1. Hi Michael, hope you feel better soon, Godspeed. And you will be playing the bass drum even better than before, how wonderful is that. Merry Christmas and all the best to you and your family in the new year! ????✨

  6. Wonderful evening to stay up late for. And so great you take the time to open all the presents so carefully as they have clearly come from all over the world! Hope you get to enjoy them more over Christmas when you can take some time for yourselves as you definitely deserve it!

  7. I was too tired to watch it live (so I thought).
Plus I had things to do before I went to bed just after 12am GMT. I quickly checked the Advent calendar and found the Live Stream was already there so I thought I would watch the first 5-10 minutes before going to bed.
Two hours later I finally went to bed having watched the whole thing.
It was so entertaining that I just didn’t notice the time.
So thanks for making me absolutely shattered today 🙂
This is my first Christmas as an MLT Club member. Hopefully not my last.
I hope you enjoy your Christmas celebrations.
    TTFN and “Stay Groovy”
    A newbie x

    1. Hi Chris, I know what you mean. Mona and Lisa’s smiles and grooviness are infectious and I can’t stop watching once I start. And welcome to the MLT Club, so glad you are here.
Merry Christmas and all the best for 2022.

  8. It was so fun to watch the livestream again. Thanks for posting the entire video so quickly. Beautiful music, absolutely. Adore the acoustic version of Songbird too! There is so much to that song I discover and feel with every listen.

  9. It was awesome, loved it, and was glad I only missed about 10-20 mins of trying to figure out why only my comments were showing but no one else’s, but I could still watch the Livestream, it was fab to see so many tuned in, some familiar folks, new ones, An all around excellent good time had !! Whoa impressed on the gifts received, cards received, You’re Truly Loved/Respected by All, Thankyiu Again for another stellar Livestream, but hoping my hearing aids weren’t the cause of interference as they’re digitalized/rechargeable, my sincere apologies if they were , I’ve only had them about 2 wks now , still getting used to them, etc . ????????????

  10. I really enjoyed the live stream, and thanks to the quick work of Papa Rudi, it came out great. Having had to deal with electronic hardware a lot in my career, I was very impressed with how fast Herr Wagner fixed the problem – pretty amazing.

And speaking of amazing – you twins are amazing.

Merry Christmas to the Wagner family MLT team, and to all the MLT club members!

  11. I really loved the live stream. However, eventhough I signed into YouTube, I didn’t see the comments or be able to make one. I loved it anyway. I really loved the live performances. The new Song Bird went so well with just two guitars. Though I love the Claud Bollingish piano and Monas Drums. Do I see a new one for the Duo Sessions? Hope so. Thank you so much for a glimpse of your life. Merry Christmas to all. May peace be with you all. Stay safe. God Speed. Stay Groovy @ ❤????

  12. Thanks Mona and Lisa, Michaela and Rudolf for a most wonderful and memorable Advent Christmas, and the Livestream was the perfect cherry on top, loved every moment! You’ve made this Christmas season so much more special for so many including myself. These are life time memories that will stay with me forever. The music, comradery, and your beautiful and groovy cheerful presence just melts away all the gloom outside. As Mona said, Thank you for your presents and your presence! Now it’s your time to rest, enjoy the holidays.

Merry Christmas, peace, love, and all the very best for the new year to Team MLT and all the wonderful MLT Club fans! ???? ✨ ????

  13. Nice!
I liked that your monitor was in front of you, instead of looking to the side like last year. That was a great response time of your support staff with the audio issue. Way to go, Rudi!

The “pixelated” covering of the coffee label was to avoid any copyright violation for product placement. I hope you enjoy it. It’s my favorite coffee. Try it in a latte

Mona’s vocal on “You Belong To Me” sounds so sweet. We enjoyed every song.
You two sound amazing just sitting on the sofa and playing a couple of songs. Maybe I’m amazed at how well you sing those songs????????
It was a great way to begin the Holiday weekend.
all I want Christmas to be???? That was beautiful

    Merry Christmas!

    Marlo & JP

  18. I think – no, I’m absolutely sure the MLT-Club is the best Fan Club in the world. Congratulation to Lisa, Michaela, Mona and Rudolf WAGNER!

  19. That was wonderful to watch and really enjoyable to watch the last two hours. Hope you enjoy your meal at the Italian Restaurant tomorrow.

For the rest of you, I wish you all a Merry Christmas.

  20. I know you probably think this is just “sucking up”, but I honestly have been waiting for this day all year!! I enjoyed last years live stream so much Ive been like a kid that can’t wait until today’s show starts. Ill recommend that you consider doing some live stream shows during the year, maybe as a way to generate income and also like others on the Tube have done. I know Id be there for every one!!! Thanks for what’s you are doing for us today!!!! Merry Christmas!!

  21. Something else interesting came out of the recent motion picture, Get Back. The producer was absolutely brilliant in showing a calendar lead-in to a given film shoot extrapolation from the 57 hours of film footage pulled out of storage and digitized.

One morning (I believe it as January 9, 1969) George arrived early at Twickenham and was talking to some chaps about a WW2 documentary he watched the night before on BBC. George was struck by the carnage inflicted on Hamburg in particular. This is likely because The Beat Brothers became good musicians in the city of Hamburg. By then, the city had undergone reconstruction. As noted, Club owners who hired them in Hamburg were constantly screaming “Mach Shau, Mach Shau” at them, hour after hour, night after night. If they didn’t snap to it, they lost their job and their beer tap. Under threat, you get good at what you do that way.

Most people are unaware the horrific destruction and loss of life in prosecuting WW2. It flies over their heads.

It was one scene toward the end of the BBC documentary George distinctly recalled a segment about Austria; in particular, a classical Straß-like dance piece with spinning ballet movements, etc. The producer was able to bring that BBC footage into the Get Back movie. George heard fragments of what would eventually become the song I Me Mine (mixed down with all Beatles present except John on January 31, 1970 in Abbey Road Studio #2). There was a kind of deep sorrow about the human suffering that caused those moody lyrics to surface in conjunction with the notes George assigned to the song, I Me Mine.

I also think John overheard this conversation that George was having about the Austrian dancers. If so, it would explain why later on at one point in the film, you see John and Yoko doing a waltz dance during an I Me Mine rehearsal.

  22. I found a recent interview with Paul McCartney that tells a little bit about the construction of the song, And Your Bird Can Sing. George and Paul did a rare dueling electric lead guitar line throughout the song. Most experts were able to figure out what model electric guitar each Beatle was playing, but believe either Paul or George — one or the other — had a capo on the 2nd fret. However, the question doesn’t come up and Paul either doesn’t remember or confirm a 2nd guitar, 2nd capo for himself or George. I suspect George most of all running a capo for a number of reasons, most of which are instances such as the recent Get Back movie where George runs a capo when demonstrating the For You Blue song to the group for the first time. It’s an ever-interesting question in a fascinating song that goes unresolved or lost in time.

Here’s the recent 60 second analysis of the song with Paul present, available only on Hulu (which I haven’t seen yet)

  23. Good morning everyone. I took the bus so I could be home on time. I can’t wait for the live stream! This is a globe that was given on Christmas from a church member when we were down and out. We put it out each year to remember. Let’s all think and pray for those who maybe down on their luck. I noticed a man on the bus who had his stuff in a paper bag that was about to break through. I got his attention and said I had some heavy duty plastic bags for him. I gave it to him and he said to me that they don’t give you much when you get out of prison. I had a very nice conversation with him. Someone I’d never would have spoken to. Random acts of kindness is all Someone needs. Stay Groovy!

  24. Just joined the MLT club to watch the livestream! Got the album last year and been following the videos.. Thanks for doing something live at this uncertain time! 🙂

    1. Glad to have you here, Trev! I joined just about 13 months ago. You’ll never meet more genuine, gracious people than the Wagner family! Last year’s livestream was joyous and memorable, and I’m sure today’s will be, too!

  25. Hey. I just got my signed Christmas CD in the mail, perfect timing, from my two favorites. Yes!! Thank you, so much, for the Joy you and your family have brought me all year. You really are the best of people. Have a very Merry Christmas!!
    I like your SANTA BABY.
