MLT Club Advent Calendar 2021 – How It Works

Welcome to the MLT Club Advent Calendar 2021!

For those of you who are not yet familiar with the concept of our MLT Club Advent Calendars, let us bring you up to speed:

Every year from December 1st – 25th, we are celebrating the MLT Club Advent Calendar with daily posts and surprises.

Advent Calendars (= also called Christmas Calendars) are something we grew up with in Austria. They are common in many countries of the world, but if they are not a thing where you are from, let us explain: An advent calendar is usually a thin carton box of some sort with 24 (or 25 – depending on the country) little numbered “windows” that you can open. Behind each window is a little gift – usually a piece of chocolate. You get to open one window every day leading up to Christmas. Well, we converted that idea to daily MLT Club posts 🙂

We’ve been playing around with different concepts over the last three years, but they always included daily posts from us and some way to bring this whole MLT community together!

For 2021 we decided to try something new and will be doing daily Giveaways.

Daily Prizes & How To Enter

Every day we will be announcing a new Giveaway and how you can enter to take part.

Typically, we will be asking you a question or give you a little challenge and everyone who participates with a comment underneath the post of the day will enter the Giveaway.

The next day we will draw the winner(s) amongst all commenters in a video and then announce the next day’s Giveaway, and so on.

You (and us!) will get the hang of it soon!

There can be several winners each day, depending on the prize, and we will contact all winners through the email address they signed up to the MLT Club with.

This might take a few days (we predict December to be quite the busy month for us) so please bear with us if you don’t hear from us straight away.

There are no restrictions on how many items and times each of you can win. The more Giveaways you enter, the better your chances will be!

Live Stream – December 23rd – 10 pm GMT

Towards the end of the Advent Calendar, on December 23rd, we will also be doing a live stream for MLT Club Members only. These are the exact times:

London – 10 pm (GMT)
Los Angeles – 2 pm
New York – 5 pm
Berlin – 11 pm
Moscow – 1 am
Sydney – 9 am

If you want to know what time that is in your time zone, please just enter your city in this time converter.

The live stream will be hosted on YouTube and we will send out the link for you to bookmark in advance.

We will be playing some songs, answer questions and simply hang out with you. Just like last year we will also be opening all Christmas presents you sent us, so if any of you are planning to send us something (for which we are of course incredibly grateful!) and would like us to open the parcel on stream, this is a kind reminder to send things for them to arrive at the address below on the 15th latest. We say this because last year quite a few of you guys’ presents were sadly left out of the stream as they arrived after Christmas.

Please use this address for any parcels:

MonaLisa Twins
Initial Business Centre
Building 7, Wilson Business Park
Monsall Road
Manchester
M40 8WN
United Kingdom

That’s all, we are now ready for December! If you have any question just leave them in the comments and we’ll get back to you there or you can also write us at mlt-club@monalisa-twins.com.

Have fun, good luck, and thanks for being here!

Mona & Lisa

  3. I’m so glad you didn’t edit this video. I love seeing the interaction between the two of you. This is my first MLT Christmas and I feel happy. I often refer to December as a stress fest. But not this year!!

  4. This is our first MLT Christmas !! Can’t wait for my better half to open the calendar wwhen it arrives ! ! ( he has no idea that I ordered it…he is a big fan of MLT !! )

  5. Hi my name is Paul Robinson, I have just joined the MLT club, I brought your Orange album and Duo Sessions earlier in the year. You are both very talented and seem like lovely people, great the way you interact with your fans. x

  6. Hi, I want to ask you if you met Stefanie Hempel, the guide of the Beatles Tour in Hamburg, when you visited this city? Have a nice advent time, yours Frank N.

  8. Seeing Mona and Lisa every day for the next month is the best present!
We are so lucky to be able to be in a little part of your amazing talented world so often. And I’m so looking forward to the livestream – last year’s was my favorite gift of the Christmas season – sweet , genuine, and joyful.
Merry Advent and Christmas to all!

  9. Last year’s Advent calendar “tasks” were a blast! It was my first Christmas in the club, and the anticipation of discovering and completing each day’s new adventure made me feel half my… no, a quarter my… ok, a tenth my age again! I don’t know of, or will likely ever meet, a family as generous, gracious, and willing to share their personal lives as the Wagners! I’m giddy with anticipation for this year’s Advent calendar to start! Love, Peace and Health to all my fellow clubbers!

  10. You make the Christmas season feel like it did when I was a kid! So excited to see you both every day… and no, getting tired of seeing you would defy the laws of physics. And although I have been known to cheat upon occasion, tomorrow is when I can start listening to one of my absolutely favorite albums of all time, without guilt; “Christmas” by you know who! Thanks for another Advent Calendar, the best gift ever!

  11. Thanks as always! I don’t think I could ever get sick of you girls. We got our first dusting of snow a few days ago where I am (Hudson valley of N.Y.) and flurries today.

  12. Excellent news, in a few hours the most important event of this year will begin, which is already ending

Thank you, Mona and Lisa, for allowing us to be part of your traditions.

  13. Hello to everyone taking part and here we go with another Christmas. For newcomers it is all a lot of fun and you get to exchange online messages with other members all over the world. Just let yourself go in and with the magical world of MLT!

Just watched the video again and the twins naturalness just hit me, no idea why it didn’t the first time but I was probably listening to the message. Very reassuring that they continue to be so normal…whatever that means nowadays!

  14. Woohoo…am stoked…can it be December 1st already and by the time of the 23rd Live Stream ….5 pm for me , 2 pm for Jung , I’m hoping to have and be wearing my hearing aids to hear you ever so much more clearer …????????

    1. Yup 2 pm Vancouver, 5 pm Ottawa on the 23rd Jacki. See you there! ???????? I blocked it off in my calendar so no one will interrupt me! ????

  15. Ok, just so I get this right, if I win one day I can still enter on subsequent days?
    LOL, I couldn’t resist.

I can’t believe it is December already. Last year’s challenges were a lot of fun, and we are looking forward to taking part in this year’s calendar. We are very excited about the live stream, too That was the koolest last year. It felt like we were all together in the same room.

    MERRY Christmas!

    JP & Marlo

  16. Took part in the first two days tasks and now I can’t find the calendar only this and I wanted to post a xmas picture on the third task – f—ed up again or what? Here is the picture

      1. So now I’m getting blind too – well well I’m only 72 so perhaps I can learn it when I get older – thanks for informing me 🙂 But nice nisse isn’t it?

      2. Nisse is actually a Scandinavian/Danish word in English like another Danish word “hygge”. My American friends say Scandinavian nisse, There is a nice tradition about a nisse. If you treat him or her nicely you’re treated well and only teased from time to time and beware of treating them with ricepudding around Yuletide (another Danish word in English). Yule was/is the time where you’re eating and drinking with your family and friends waiting to return to the work in the fields again, so the Yuletide is about a month long from solstice (23 December). That’s the reason for placing the birth of Jesus there- which never has been his birthday. But as I say you can celebrate your birthday whenever you feel for it – just only once a year-

  17. Looking forward to what you have in mind as we lead up to Christmas. You’re both always so creative and energetic and talented spirit lifters!

  18. Great stuff! This advent calendar was brilliant last year and the live session on 23rd December, recommend all join the twins for a superb evening full of festive cheer!
Thank you Mona and Lisa 🙂

  19. Hello Ladies,
Who could ever get tired of you? NEVER!my favorite time of year and I get to contact you everyday! Yay!
Every year your advent calendar has gotten better and Better. This years calendar promises to eclipse everything before. Though topping your Original Christmas Song and Album will be very hard to do.
I am trying to get something there for the live stream, but you know how the post feels about Little Parcel. It seems it holds it for Ransom or puts it in Solitary. ????????????
Oh and KRAMPUS ???????? has his own day. Your favorite day. ????????????????????
Looking forward to the next 31 days.
    Best always
    Rick
PS is it Daily Sticky Toffee Pudding in your Advent Calendar? I mean, why should there be a choice?

  20. Mona and Lisa, your generosity knows no bounds. You have always gifted us with your music, and through the advent calendars we’ve relished the opportunity to interact with you on a daily basis every December. And now you’re going to shower us with presents? We are not worthy!

I do have one minor question, which will probably be clarified when we start. Will there be a fixed daily deadline (midnight GMT, for example) for entering each giveaway?

  21. Oh yeahhh!!! It’s getting exciting already, can’t wait until tomorrow. I think by the end of December we will all be experts with the Advent process! ???? I’m so looking forward to the live stream on the 23rd! ???????? MLT Christmas traditions are the greatest! All the best of luck to everyone! Love the setting of the video ladies with the tree, owl, robin etc you both look full of the Christmas spirit. ????❤

  22. I’m glad you didn’t edit it out and thank you Lisa for clarifying because I wasn’t clear on that point either. Of course it was spelled out in the post, but I hadn’t read it yet; couldn’t wait to watch the video. I hope that you will be waiting until the end and sending multiple prize-winners just one shipment! I can’t wait for the livestream and thank goodness I don’t have to worry about missing it because of work this year! Those sweaters look so comfy. I wish I were snuggled up between you with my own cup of tea. It’s getting brrr here.
