We had so much fun filming every evening and even more so loved reading your comments after waking up each morning.
Tomorrow we will wrap it all up with a long livestream (starting at 10 pm GMT). There will still be posts on the 24th and 25th but it won’t be any more videos.
Thank you SO much for all your submissions and for participating in the comments. You will have noticed that we enabled a lot more interactive features in the MLT Club throughout the month and we will make sure to fine-tune and explain them all properly in the new year. There is so much we are excited to share with you soon!
But for now, we’re focussing on what’s right ahead of us …

I can’t believe its come to the end. It’s been the “most wonderful time of the year” again, thanks to Mona, Lisa, Michaela and Rudi, and the whole MLT Club family.

Thanks Stephen, I had a lot of fun making it. An interesting thing is that I didn’t have any geese on my train layout and the only ones I could get were made in Germany!

This has been great seeing everyone’s various utube interests. We loved watching Lisa and Mona’s reaction. They can be so charming, and then suddenly have the whole room laughing. You chicks rock!

I’ve just seen the US weather forecast and it shows a “feels like” temp of -70 with frostbite on skin within 5 minutes. Scary. I hope you get through it safely.

The weather is turning here tomorrow as the big storm blows in. Not much in the way of snow, maybe 3 inches but the temperatures will be 0-15F, with very strong winds. I hope the power stays on, I don’t want to miss the live stream tomorrow.

What a fun month this has been! With this Advent calendar we got to put the shoe on the other foot and allow Mona and Lisa to sit back (at least for a few minutes a day) and be entertained by us, with Allan’s contribution today being the crown jewel in that effort.
And as always, the daily posts have engendered conversations that have broadened our horizons and allowed us to get to know each other better. The MLT Club feels more like a genuine family every day, and I’m really looking forward to the annual family get-together tomorrow!
So right David. What a treat this has been especially for guys like me that live alone. I will be spending time with family and friends on the 24th and 25th so it is perfect the live stream is tomorrow.
Fantastic Job Ellen! Wow so creative and fun! The new album is a gem to me and LOVE all the songs from beginnng to the end. You’re more than welcome Allan. I’m not the most tech savvy person on the planet so creativity like that pretty much astounds me.
Power company was just here and restored our juice, yay! Same thing last year on Christmas day, about the same temp too and the same crew to make the repair. Fortunately we also have a wood stove for backup heat, otherwise…and it’s warmer inside our deep freezer than outside.
That video was so cool. I like making little videos too but I’m not that tech savvy either. I only use the video editor on Windows 10 which doesn’t offer many options. Thanks again for the video.
Not sure where you are at Daryl. I’m in western Wisconsin. We got another 6 ” of snow last night and now -4.F. Winter is definitely here. Stay cozy.
Tim, from where you are go due north as far as the roads will allow, skirt left just before Lake Superior and head on up to “Winterpeg” (maybe 6 – 8 hours?) and follow the TC #1 to Calgary (another 8-10 hours). Head north on QE II to Edmonton (3 -4 hours) and another 2-3 hours north on #2 from Edmonton and you’ll be in the neighborhood. Bring your woolies! 🤣

Being a model train enthusiast since my son was 2 years old I really enjoyed the model change. Good job Percy!!! I really enjoyed that video.
Our son, Who is now 26 is coming home for Christmas so I’ve got to go out today and get some balloons cause I really wanted to try that with our dog that was also an awesome video.

I can’t remember when, but I have seen a dog or cat pop balloons before. I don’t believe they liked the result.
