We made a very limited run of MLT bags this year! They will go live on the official webstore on Wednesday but we wanted to give you members the opportunity to order first, in case you fancy getting one! Since we have never made these before we don’t know how quickly they will sell, so we want you to have first dibs!

Glad you’re feeling better Mona! All that positive energy must be the elixir you needed. I always wondered how working musicians managed through things that us mere mortals suffer with…I reckon chicken soup, a good cup of tea, a warm fuzzy blanket and a nice fire in the hearth helps everyone!

My daughter is in the hospital right now with Pneumonia, but she is getting better day by day!!! Day by Day, maybe a song? Or is it already a song? I’m very sorry to hear about Mona’s “lurgy!” I looked up this strange word, & it’s defined as “a mild illness or disease.” I’m hoping it’s nothing serious! And I’m glad you’re taking it easy Mona. Maybe with all the work you two Wonder Girls have been doing lately you’re probably “burning the candle at both ends.”

Lurgy….basically UK’s term for flu/flu like/bronchitis/some kinda cold I think when I Googled up the meaning… I’ve heard it, just couldn’t recall the meaning in North American terms …..

Yeah Jacki, you’re right! Also, I looked up lurgy again, & it’s supposed to rhyme with “Fergie,” but I thought it might rhyme with “clergy,” but no. Also, it’s a corruption & contraction of the word “allergy.” And it first came to prominence in the UK’s 1950’s “Goon Show” comedy that the Beatles loved so much when they were kids. They called it the “dreaded lurgy” on the show!
I understand a lot of British slang. We watch British TV shows often, and I’ve been to the UK 3 times now. AND my mom’s dad was from Ontario & became a Canadian Mountie in his early 20’s!

I’m so sorry to hear Mona is sick. There is a lot of crud going around my area too. I was sick all last week, still have a sore throat and runny nose. About all you can do is rest. Sending Mona prayers and yes, the chicken soup does do wonders.

I love that show “The Big Band Theory!” The Sheldon character drives me crazy, but all the actors in that show are hilarious! I even wrote out “Soft Kitty,” & teach it to my younger students in the schools where I substitute teach. After we’ve sung it a few times, I ask for volunteers to come up front & sing it for the class. They enjoy doing that, & I can help them improve their vocal techniques with that, & many other songs.

No matter HOW many times I see different episodes from the BBT, I STILL laugh out loud! It always makes me feel better & revitalized! Young Sheldon is good too!
Also, I’ve always loved “Modern Family!” I always thought that the 1960’s & ’70’s US comedy shows were the best, but these two newer shows are so good!
For UK shows I love “Doc Martin,” “Death in Paradise” & a bunch of others. They are also classics. The writing AND acting are so wonderful in all these TV shows, and I don’t have much time for TV, & I never seem to go to movies anymore. There are just too many other things to do — like practicing instruments, & exercise! — Bud

Luv the Spinoff Young Sheldon as well…. fun fact : both Laurie Metcalfe and her daughter -Zoe Perry played Sheldon’s mom – Laurie on BBT while Zoe on YS …and Lance Varber played a former bully from high dchool of Leonard’s on BBT , then got role of Young Sheldon’s Dad ….

I thought I recognized Lance, and later confirmed it when I saw a repeat of the Bully episode. Did Young Sheldon end? I always assumed they could only go so far with that. That was great casting for his Mom’s younger character.

Heyya JP….to my knowledge, Season 7 will be last one for ” Young Sheldon ” …. I hate Vicks Vapour Rub too ….lol …. also… just remembered the episode on BBT where see Young Sheldon on a VHS Tape ( what prompted the spinoff , I’m guessing ), and also cool how Sara Gilbert appears on BBT and her and Johnny Gilecki are reunited again, sort of…. just like when they were on Roseanne show ….lol…. I also loved Johnny in the National Lampoon Xmas movie as ” Russ Griswold ” … Yes, agreed Sheldon can be annoying at first but then he kinda grows on ya, like all characters…. it takes a gifted actor/actress to convincingly play the part ….. 🤘🏻😎

I actually do use bags like that, for when I go to the Farmer’s Market, or just to avoid single use bags at the grocery. So now I’ll be able to shop in style, and spread the word.

Lol….I believe I may have influenced this merch idea as I do recall making a suggestion for it or for a knapsack …. but happy it has come to fruition and have ordered one as I’m known in my family and by all who know me…. quite literally as the ” Bag Lady ” ….lol…because I’m forever having my knapsack and bags of stuff when I’m out n about as I don’t drive but rely on public transit such as buses, people driving me, LRT ( light rail system ), etc so you can bet I’m gonna be using it , and folks will see the tote bag ….

They look great, It looks a lot like a purse but I will order one anyway, Lol. It may be a gift for someone I have turned into an MLT fan. I would really love an MLT coffee mug (any style). I collect coffee mugs and know you sold them before I joined the club. I have even looked on ebay but no success. Maybe you will offer some in the future, thank you, on to the shop.
