The MLT Club Wire
As you’ve probably seen, we have just sent out the 2nd “update email” to all MLT Club members! We should really find a better name for it than “update email”, don’t you think?
Last week we’ve asked you for some name suggestions for these emails, and you immediately delivered. We collected all ideas here in this poll and added a few of our own. Please let us know which names you like / don’t like or add more ideas if you can think of anything better!
We’ll listen to your feedback and in a week or two we’ll have a brand spanking new MLT Club newsletter design!

Hey, M & L! How soon will the groovy judges close this poll and end the ballot? Is it too late to change my vote from “MLT Club Wire” to Florida Richard’s idea of “Groovy News?” Maybe you could assemble the TOP 3 vote-getters and let everyone engage in a final vote? That way the “other” options could be revealed if they made the final 3? Just my “half farthings” worth here.
“Club News” – it’s short, concise and tells us all we need to know.
Whatever final decision the name should include MLT.
Why. It’s an internal newsletters for MLT supporters who know why we’re here. All we need to know is it’s for us and not the non paying public MLT supporters.
I agree Dave, and that is why I voted for “MLT Club Wire.” Plus, the Wagners seem to like retro stuff, and the word “Wire” hearkens back to the old days of the telegraph. Many of us fans live in the USA and I like the thought of getting a telegraph message from Liverpool across the Big Pond!

I just got Newsletter Taxi- that’s beyond good!! That’s my new favorite!
They could also try the “Groovy Times”.
I kind of like Richard’s suggestion. But I’ll throw one in the hopper anyway. Since a newsletter is a preview of what’s coming up. How about Twin Peeks (apologies to David Lynch). OK, everyone can start groaning now.
I won’t groan Robert, but maybe some will. That is very close to the Twin Peaks Restaurant which is the main competitor of Hooters (owl themed) Restaurant. That might not fly (even though owls can and Mona and Lisa want to), in this groovy family MLT CLUB. Just sayin’

I thought your Merci, as in thank you, was a nice touch but just thought Mersey so much reflects everything Liverpudlian – ‘Ferry Cross the Mersey’
