Shaker Egg – Giveaway
Good morning, everyone!
We hope you all had a good Easter weekend!
We ourselves spent it in the studio (are we ever not doing that?) and out in nature on two long runs in preparation for an upcoming trail marathon … our first one yet! Naturally, we are knackered now (“exhausted” in American English ;-)) and wanted to do something easy and fun today.
So, how about a new give-away? We decided to give away one of our most used percussion instruments … fitting with the Easter spirit … an egg!
Not any old egg but a “Chicken Shake” percussion egg, a staple in most musician’s percussion arsenal. It’s the very same shaker that we have used on recordings for songs like “Count On Me” and even “Dreams” off our debut album!
It has some superglued cracks and looks a little worn so we’ll put our signatures on it to dress it up and send it to whoever wins! 😉 We’ll throw in an ORANGE beach towel and a signed CD of the winner’s choice as well.

The chicken crossed the road for the lucky winner to win the percussion egg.Recently, by the way, I saw a chicken run across the road.
Because there was a Fender bender in the road which stopped all traffic and allowed the chicken to cross the road safely to visit his Seagull friend at the Blueridge mountains.
Because the pedestrian lights were green.

To get the flat tire on the canoe fixed.

I don’t know birds that well either, but I’ll guess it had just listened to Across the Universe and Why Don’t We Do It InThe Road?, and was inspired by the mashup. It couldn’t be on both sides, now could it?
