New Profile Fields & Settings – Survey
We want your opinion about some new features on the website …
As we’ve mentioned in last week’s post, we have made lot of technical changes here in the Club and are implementing and fine-tuning a lot of new features.
Your profiles are going to become a lot more customisable and we’re working on improving the community aspect and way in which you can connect and interact with one another.
You will be able to present yourself much better with your profile page and learn more about the other members here. We have been brainstorming about what “custom fields” to put there for you to fill out. Instead of guessing what you guys would like to share about yourselves on your profile page, we thought we’d simply ask you. After all, we made this Club for you! 🙂
If you could please take a few minutes to fill out this survey to let us know what fields we should make available to fill out and also what the “default” privacy status for those should be, that would be greatly appreciated!
We gave you a lot of options but please feel free to select the “No Field” option for all those you are not interested in. It’ll all make more sense once you click the survey button 🙂
No matter what will be implemented based on a majority result in the end, please know that it will still always be completely voluntary to share more about yourself in the MLT Club. These new changes won’t affect you at all if you decide not to take part in the community aspect of this Club. We’d still be interested in hearing from you though!

What profile fields would you like to show up on your Profile Page so that you can share more about yourself and connect better with other MLT Club members and fans?
If you do like a field option please let us know what you think should be the default privacy setting – who should be able to see the info you choose to enter by default. Every member will be able to change these settings based on their own preferences but we are trying to find out what we should select as the default setting.
Please select one of the five options for every suggested “profile field” below:
- Select “No Field” if you would NOT want that field as an option to fill out on your profile page.
- Select “Only Me” if you think the field should only be visible to yourself by default.
- Select “My Connections Only” if you think the field should only be visible to your “connections”. Facebook would use the term “friends” here but we’d like to think we are all friends here so we chose a different termÂ
“Connections” are other MLT Club Members or website users that you sent a connection request to. - Select “All Members” if you think the field should be visible to all MLT Club Members.
- Select “Public”  if you think the field should be visible to everyone, including guest visitors on the website.
I didn’t take the survey since it seems like you must have acted on the results already. And besides, I don’t have a pencil nearly as big as the one Mona has.
I used to design web sites, so from that perspective I usually liked to give the user as much choice as they want. So I’d just include all of those questions, and let them decide who gets to see what they wrote among all the options you list.
And it looks like you’ve kind of done that. It looks good to me.
But, of course, I don’t have a single favorite of almost anything. Except you two. Thanks.
Love this post and just finished the survey. As you may know I do not have a picture of myself but not comfortable with how I look. Trying to loose some weight and would feel better if I lost a couple of pounds to post a picture of myself. I know there are a couple of me with Maddie but again I do not take good pictures, for example my drivers leucine OMG it is bad LOL…..But will muster up the courage to post one soon.
First of all, may I comment on the photo……Lisa….That hair and those glasses are a knockout and Lisa….with the big pencil and your hair and glasses are a home run too!! Your smiles are just too awesome. Now I think the survey was done well. As for me, as another member said, “I have nothing to hide” which is why public is fine with me. I do like to learn about other members, where they live, their likes and dislikes. Especially members over there in Germany and England. A lot of my ancestors are from there. This is one “Groovy” Club for sure and your interaction with Club Members is GREAT !! There are not any artists out there……if ANY….. who do what you do here. Keep it up Ladies. This is all very cool, but my favourite books, movies, actors, etc, change frequently (which is why I never use them as security questions) It’s not a matter of being fickle, it’s just that there are so many good songs/albums/movies/foods/t.v. shows/books/experiences, many as many as I can.
What a fantastic Idea!! I for one don’t have anything to hide and is why answers are Public or Club. I am interested to know where everyone is and they’re interests.
I would also like to know of those that have been extremely lucky to meet you, where that was.

The survey is very considerate. I think you covered every privacy issue there is. Thanks for requesting our input.
The new forum is great. I like the “New Posts since your last visit” option. I get the feeling some of these options were available before, I just had not noticed them.
It sounds like you have been very busy lately. We all appreciate everything you do. But seriously, are you getting enough rest? I am sure it’s due to the time difference, but sometimes it seems like MLT never sleeps.

You’re right, JP. I often notice the ladies seem to be active at all times, too! In response to your at-work humming, I was playing the Cavern Club cds when someone brought three customers by on a plant tour, and they were all treated to Mona stut-t-t-tering out “My Generation”! They hung out awhile, pretending to be interested in what I was doing, but I’m pretty sure they were just enjoying the music!
Which musicians care more about their fans and who spends more time thinking about their fans than Mona and Lisa? Besides being phenomenal singers snd musicians, you are even better and more beautiful people inside and out! And that’s what makes being an MLT Club member the best! Thanks so much for being yourselves!

Thankyou for Survey idea, I believe that will further the awesome creativity concepts you have in mind to enhance the #MLTBuzzLuvGroovified Experience as an MLT Clubber to an even more fulfilling and positivity induced groovy time had by all while logged in here ????
