Timeline

The Timeline on your profile differs from the Site-Wide-Activity stream in a way that it only shows posts that are closely connected to you. It only shows posts by you and users that you are connected with (they accepted your connection request or vice-versa). It also shows posts of users you follow and any posts that mention you (by tagging you with the @yourname function)

Profile

Here it shows any of the fields that you filled out (you can do so by clicking the “Edit” button). Your info is only visible to others if the privacy settings you chose allow it. We explain all that in the Setting Up My Profile Tutorial.

Shop

This tab is always only visible to yourself. No other MLT Club members or website visitors can see this information.

Here you can manage and view your MLT Club Subscription, view your Order History, access your Downloads, enter a default Shipping and Billing Address for future orders and save any Payment Methods for a quicker checkout during shop visits.

Donations

This tab is always only visible to yourself. No other MLT Club members or website visitors can see this information.

If applicable, you view your Donation History, see any ongoing Recurring Donations and even make a New Donation through this tab.

Forum

This tab gives you an overview of all your contributions to the MLT Club Forum and any of its Sub-Forums. Easily see all your Discussions and Replies and Favourites in one place. It also shows you all discussions you have subscribed to.

Connections

This tab shows a list of all MLT Club Members or regular website users you have connected with (think of it like your “friends” on Facebook).

Photos

If you want to share more about yourself and your life you can upload photos here! You can select one of the following privacy settings for each upload (selectable on the upload screen):

Public – Anyone who visits the MonaLisa Twins website can see this photo
All Members – Only MLT Club Members can see this photo
My Connections – Only MLT Club Members whose connection request you accepted can see this photo
Only Me – Only you (and team MLT) can see this photo

Comments

This tab gives you an overview of all your comments underneath posts throughout the MLT Club and website in general. This is a separate to forum contributions which you can find in the Forum Tab.

See your Comments, Reactions (other comments you have upvoted or downvoted), comment threads you have subscribed to, Votes (upvotes and downvotes you have received from other MLT Club Members) and commenters you are following / who are following you.

Location

If you have set a location in the Profile Tab (watch the Setting Up My Profile Tutorial to find out how) it will appear in a separate tab called Location. This tab will not show up for you if no location is entered.

  1. I no longer see a comments tab under the drop down menu or on my profile page. also no settings tab on the notifications page. Are changes being made?

  2. Great stuff. I enjoyed setting up my profile and have enjoyed reading the profiles of the people that I have met on the MLT Club website. During my time in the club, I have learned so much from my fellow members and from Mona, Lisa, Michaela, and Rudolf. Both your feedback and your general responses have been most enjoyable.

The encouragement and the kindness that I have received the last few days from our members pertaining to Lady Jane Beagle’s surgery is so appreciated. Between the well-wishes from you and from many students means so much. Many thanks.

It is time to check out the new features that Mona and Lisa have explained so eloquently.

  3. Lots of interesting features there although I’m sure there may be some I would not use very often. I did look at the most popular member list though and love that Jacki is No 1!! (even above Jung!)

  4. Wow this is great. Found it really helpful to get an overview of all the different features, functions, purposes like that summarized. It can be easy to overcome a useful feature, like following someone on just a specific post. The MLT Club website with all the features and new features being added is impressive. Thanks for these!

  5. Again, Thankyou for this segment # 3 …. This Visual Learner fully appreciates the fact you are showing what you’re explaining simultaneously …only way I can grasp/understand stuff ….To just explain without Visual references, etc….no point/use for me /brain to acknowledge in understanding what was said ….lol… always been an issue, in my school years and still now…. Thankyou, Kudos….looking forward to more Tutorials-Visual Learner Friendly 🤘🏻👌👍🏻

  6. Thanks for all the information. What is the difference between a “Like” and “Upvote” and is there a way to see who left an upvote after I have marked it as “read”.

      1. Yeah, as soon as the upgrades were implemented I started clicking on everything like a kid tearing through Christmas presents. I love it! I just park on the site-wide activity page and wait for something to happen.

      2. After a few hours when I go to log out I get a pop up asking “are you sure you want to log out?” I think for a minute and say “No, I guess not” and find another rabbit hole. Lol

      3. I honestly can’t remember the last time I voluntarily logged out. Sometimes my connection times out or my system crashes, but otherwise I always have a window open for the MLT club. I need professional help!

      4. My PC is pretty old and tends to crash quite often. Especially if I have more than one window open. Someday I’ll get a new one.
