You know how much we enjoy making videos …
It’s another creative outlet besides music and allows us to share our music and other aspects of our lives in a hopefully interesting and fun way with you guys.
The MLT Club here has given us a playground to try out different formats and new ideas. For example, you might remember that the Duo Sessions were first born here, and we’ve also been experimenting more with chatty videos like our What’s On The Table series or our Out & About, Arts & Crafts or Travel vlogs.
We’re curious to hear what types of videos you have enjoyed the most so far!

Nothing like a ‘live’ session……
I voted for Duo sessions, although I haven’t seen all the vids on the site yet.
You do covers better than how the original artists did them, and sometimes your Duo sessions are better than your own originals.
I like watching the interplay between you two, the looks and smiles, the fist bump at the end, and how you can sing lead, harmony, and a couple background parts at the same time! Ok, just kidding about that.
I also like the closeups on what you’re playing. When I used to sit in on keyboards with bands, since I also play guitar I used to watch what the guitarist was playing. It’s not all playing by ear.
The intimacy of the setting is special, like on Both Sides Now, my favorite cover. That’s not an easy song to sing, it has a wide range, but Lisa makes it look easy. Sometimes, like on that one, the whole thing just comes together and is pure magic.
Having said that, I really like the other videos you obviously worked a lot on, like the acted out One More Time, however you did I Wanna Kiss You, and performance videos, like Starman where at the end you pan up to show the Milky Way, even though I don’t see the starman up there looking back. I know he’s there though. I enjoy the performance videos too, like watching Mona channel her inner John Lennon on some rockers. I thought she was really letting go until I saw her inner Roger Daltry on My Generation. lol
Those duo sessions are fantastic. The music by itself is outstanding but watching you two play one can just see the enjoyment and passion you but into your music. I like the production videos too. Bus Stop and That’s Life are two of my favorites.

My favorite videos are Bus Stop and While My Guitar Gently Weeps, but I absolutely love the duo sessions.
Duo sessions absolutely my favorite followed by your music videos. Third choice could have been a number of things. So much to luv about MonaLisa Twins.
two of my favorite videos are where you are having fun, “Bus Stop”, and “Did You Ever Have To Make Up Your Mind”, followed closely by live performances such as the Cavern Club.
I love everything you girls do…but my favorite is watching “live” performances…keep in mind as a radio DJ I was quite involved in the local country music association and emceeing shows and to me those live shows are special as you get to see all the musicians and how they interact on stage…..your Duo Sessions is actually “live” also and there’s a special quality in watching the two of you strip down a song and actually make it better and you’re not just guitarists… you put the ukulele to use..cajon…bells on your shoes…harmonica…accordion…bass…..in other words Duo Sessions brings out the truly incredible musicianship that lives inside the two of you……but it takes all the other stuff you do…WOTT…personal recreation things such as your hiking…vacation trips…the photos of past years…that all adds to how we MLT Club members feel about you girls and the enjoyment you have brings Enjoyment to Us old geezers reliving our youth through you with the songs you perform from OUR past and memories that come with each 60s song you give us….and you better believe that I (we) hope to live long enough too see the MonaLisa Twins explode onto the international scene and become the Super Stars we already know you are….we are waiting for the rest of the world to catch up !!❤️????????????????????????????????????
It’s impossible to pick just 3, all you do is always fun and heartwarming to watch. Personally, I like the Duo Sessions because it showcases what incredible musicians you are, the live shows like the Cavern are sublime too. Q&As give us some insights, and the What’s on The Table? feels like we’re in your living room, but really all you do is fab, and the variety also makes it more entertaining!

One of my all time favorites is Bus Stop.
You gave us an impossible task! We like whatever you do. I really got a kick out of Mona’s DIY project. I picked 3 as you demanded :-), but I love them all.
Too hard to pick just 3!!! I like any video you are in, and I am not exaggerating. The duo ones are the best but I like everything you do. You can always make me smile, don’t underestimate the joy you bring even if we have never met and you are an ocean away. I have never been a “fanboy” of anything in my life, but you ladies have taught me it is never too late and you each have a special gift – you make your fans happy. God Bless you!

Well, I guess based on what everyone else has already said, you are getting the point that we love the Duo Sessions and everything else you do in your lives! The more you share the more enjoyment I get.
One cool idea for a video that someone floated a while back is to document the process of filling a merch order, from initial notification to grabbing the items off the shelf to autographing to packaging and addressing to dropping it off at the post office. (If I have some of the details wrong… well, the video would set me straight.)
I don’t expect that any aspects of the mechanics would be super surprising, but I think we’d all be very gratified to glimpse the human side of what actually goes on between our submitting an order and a package arriving on our doorstep.
Arrrgghh…lol…to only pick 3… such a tossup, as I equally love All of the choices, sometimes it’s a treat to see something non music related , but I do equally love all choices, Please keep in doing all, maybe once in awhile , go off the wayside , feature the non music stuff, just to keep it ongoing fresh, funky groovy , as always do, I love variety, you certainly offer that.

Live performance, Music videos and Duo sessions/Behind the scenes. I cheated a bit there at the end but I had to! The other stuff of course is fun too but the music is most important really.
If i had a 4th. option, i would have gone with out&about. Great sometimes to see something that isn`t music related too

I have to agree with a Kevin that I felt bad about leaving out any of my favorites – and truly they are all my favorites. Actually the Christmas livestream was my favorite and there was no livestream choice…and the DIY planter was so fun to see you two in action.
I only ask that even though you only allowed us to pick three don’t take out any of the types as they are all great. I don’t think you’d even get one vote for any type of video we did NOT want to see.
As has been stated several times, this was a tough question – I like them all.
As I was limited to just 3 choices, I chose some of the less common ones. I figure that we’d eventually get to see the duo sessions, live videos and music videos on youtube anyway, so let’s have some content in the MLT club that wouldn’t normally make it to youtube.
Ok girls, first you know we love you but… this was the most unfair thing you have ever ask of us!!! I did pick 3 but it made me feel so guilty for not choosing 3 others!! Honestly I could have picked any of the first 6 choices but you made the rules. I guess that is your privilege since this is your club!! LOL… Sincerely, thank you for ALL you do for us, nothing is unappreciated from the club members.
Sorry, one more, when Bands record an album, automatically the Labels say get out there and tour, people want to see you.
We see the best female Duo in the business right now. Sure I would love to see them Live but aren’t we already seeing them Live? They are playing to an audience. US!!!! It’s only going to get Bigger.

Is there anyone else that puts out a video every time they put out a song with that quality, I don’t think so. I have watched all of them and there great and sometimes funny which is why I love MonaLisa Twins!

This is a very difficult question! I personally love all that you do for your fans. It does make us feel like a family. I totally understand why we were limited to 3 choices. Everyone would just check all of them.

With all due respect to both of you, and Team MLT, I Love all the Videos the same. No one particular video stands above the rest IMO. Each one, and each subject are unique and different from All the rest. Thats what makes them unique.
Each Video has its on special appeal and shows a different side of you. You all offer a wide and vast array of subjects. Even the lighter and more personal videos offer a side that we just don’t get to see, and brings you closer to us. Kind of like a huge family, which we kind of are. We get to ask questions that interest us, AND YOU ANSWER THEM!!!!
I know you didn’t include the Live Stream from Christmas as one on the list, but that one had a Huge flavorness that none of the rest have to offer.
I would not change a thing, of course unless, you would like to have a segment on opening and sharing gifts that you get from time to time from us. Or maybe even some past gifts that stand out from the others.
How about a segment about the special instruments that you have been given over the years or a tour of your vast array of instruments and studio.

WOW! A Tuesday torture us question!
Went with Duo Sessions as #1 for the reason Jeffery gave- insane artistic talents. (Perfect description Jeffery!). Then picked WOTT and Behind the Scenes as gives us a sneak peak at what influenced your music and how you did the marvelous vids and of course the bloopers. But the other choices are special also!
Really though, Duo sessions are #1 and all the rest are equally in 2nd place!!!! That wasn’t an option though… 🙂

I didn’t check off live performances as my third choice. I prefer to be there for live performances I want to feel the energy of the performers, instruments, and the people around me enjoying the same thing.

WOW! I think that’s the most difficult question you’ve ever asked us! Like Jung, I love everything you share with us! If the vlogs had been one choice together, I may have gone that route, and WOTT is always a favorite, too. I picked Duo Sessions because I feel these stripped down versions showcase your insane artistic talents better than anything else. I love the produced videos, and could watch them all day, but you both shine in the Duos! As for Q&As, watching them seems almost like having a direct conversation with you! And the “making of ” vids show us some of what goes into your incredible productions. The finished product always looks so polished and professional, it’s easy to forget how much thought and hard work goes into them! The “making ofs” also provide some of the biggest laughs and also heartfelt respect when we see how you interact behind the scenes. Still so difficult to choose! Please don’t ever ask us to choose our favorite twin!
Hi Mona and Lisa, hope you are enjoying summer now! We are into a heatwave in Western Canada, supposed to peak into the upper 30s and even possibly into the 40s this weekend! Favourite MLT video I am tempted to say all of them, but I guess that would be taking the easy way out. Duo Sessions of course, all those moments of absolute pure beauty where time stands still! Then always love hearing your take on albums and your musical reaction to different tracks, I can watch you talk about music all day if you did an all day long WOTTs! The travel VLOGs also stand out for me, especially the Hamburg videos, learned so much, and was so fun. It felt like I’ve been to Hamburg guided by the two most wonderful people on the planet! 🙂
