Winter & Christmas 2019 – Photos

Some impressions from our “Winter holidays break” 2019. Although we’ve come together a few times (in the UK and in Austria) it was the first time ever since we moved to the UK that we spent Christmas together with our family.

Having a week of quality time with them to unwind, eat good food, be in nature and catch up on life was much needed and gave us a good refuel to start off 2020 energised.

Mother Nature didn’t give us a White Christmas but we got a light powdery coating a few days after. Hey, we’ll take it! ๐Ÿ™‚ย

  1. Thank you for sharing. It’s wonderful that you were able to get away for the holidays and spend time with family. Looks like the two of you kept up with your running? Seeing the pictures of Austria just reinforces my desire to travel across the pond. UK, France, Germany, Austria, and Italy are on the list so far.

  2. Amazing! Such lovely photos of a beautiful countryside. I donโ€™t know about Christmas crackers, but that sure looks like Schnapps in that cabinet to me, Mona. I am glad you were able to take this well deserved break with family over Christmas.

  3. What a perfect way to spend Christmas with family, home away from home at Grand Parents place! Austria is always this magical place to me because of it’s great musical history, and it looks remarkable with its castles, stylish architecture, and countryside/mountainous beauty! Those are some big Chrismassy pine cones that would put our Canadian ones to shame, at least in my neck of the country. Really enjoyed seeing these, thanks for sharing them! ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. I know Austria and I know it is a great and peaceful country full of natural beauties. That’s why I can understand that you always like to visit your home. I am also sure that your family enjoyed your visit as well, and that they are very proud of your success in the UK and in so many other countries.

I wish you both all the best for another groovy year!

  5. Thankyou for sharing, Truly I can sense the homespun Hearted Vibes of your Austrian Xmas holidays spent back home in Austria with the magic and beauty of inspiring awe from the stellar photos taken, Christmas doesn’t necessarily has to be a White Xmas, The true gift of being with family/friends, that’s what makes it special… The stunning landscapes and water pux of swans, mountains, etc, refreshing, the cute, quirky takes of fun and MLT Elfettes gifted to you by a fan, just adds essences of Groovy Warmth and Smiles ?
